Noel sat in his room.

His mum was out of town for a few days doing god knows what, but that means he finally got some peace and quiet.

finally.

he was sitting alone in his room, looking down at the sheets of music down on his bed that Ocean gave him.

yes, she made him force the choir.

Noel did love singing, so he wasn't really complaining, but the same songs over and over again boring fast, especially when they were bad. I mean who wants to sing about about a 'fall fair?' or a song about their town?

Noel sat in his room, quietly humming the songs.

He had an amazing voice, ask anyone. It was smooth and calm, unlike oceans or constances who were both a lot higher, or a girl called jane, the same one from his pe class, who had joined a while before him. her voice was super high, it was amazing everytime anyone heard it.

he began to sing, quietly at first, a song he'd had stuck in his head.

Roxanne
You don't have to put on that red light
Walk the streets for money
You don't care if it's wrong or if it is right

Mischa stood at Noel's front door outside in the rain, knocking on it. His arm was in a cast; turns out broke his wrist when Ocean pushed him off of the chair.

Roxanne
You don't have to wear that dress tonight
Roxanne
You don't have to sell your body to the night

Mischa stood there, taking a seat on Noel's front doorstep. The wet concrete felt cold as he sat on it as he stared off into the starry sky above him. He listened to the voice coming from inside; it was beautiful.

His eyes upon your face
His hand upon your hand
His lips caress your skin
It's more than I can stand

Noel took a deep breath before belting out the line;

Why does my heart cry?
Feelings I can't fight
You're free to leave me, but just don't deceive me

Mischa joined in from outside on the final line, quietly enough for his own entertainment, not loud enough for anyone to hear.

And please, believe me when I say I love you.

Noel turned the music down, hearing a muffled voice outside. he peered out of the window to see a man on the front porch, his silhouette illuminated by the dim moonlight.

he quickly crept to the door, the man still sat there, water dripping off of him as the cool rain contrasted his warm skin.

"....hello-?" Noel asked, still shielding himself from the harsh winds outside.

the man outside turned around and smiled at him. "hello noel!" he said with a grin.

"Oh my god you're soaked!! Come in, im so sorry i didn't hear you-"

Noel opened the door, letting a gush of wind sweep an array of dust over the carpet, with the water soaking into the floorboard.

He quickly ran to the bathroom and grabbed a towel for him, "how long were you out there?!"

"long enough to hear you sing. you have beautiful voice."
