"I hate accidents, except when we went from friends to this"
Since Hazel Strand could form words and walk she wanted to help people. As she grew up it was one of her main goals in life whether it was to help people in burning buildings or helping people from the streets. However, one thing she didn't consider until she was 19 was joining the military. She'd be protecting her country and the people who lived in it just like she dreamed of. So after a year of considering it and talking to her parents about it, she made her final decision, she was going to go through boot camp and then enlist. And she found it to be one of the best decisions she had ever made in her life.
