I mean it's not like he asked if I was a mix between a giraffe and a horse, but it did sound a bit akin. Even though it wasn't asked in an offensive way, I still take offense, because if you think about it it is still rude. My face scrunched in disgust as my gaze flicked to the side , what to do?
The situation was unplanned and unexpected and if I'm going to be honest , Percy's blunt way of wording is going to get him decked.
Chiron said that he has to come to a sense of realization by his self. So I have to stay incognito for now.
I straightened my shoulders and placed my hands on Percy's shoulders,"Percy, please understand that you fainted and you scared me. Did you wat earlier you look rather pale?"
My voice was sweet and euphoric , it captured his mind and weaved it's way through his thoughts and into the core of his soul. It ignited a flame in him and his eyes shone a bright misty gold that settled deep within his irises a clear sign that the effect was in act and waiting patiently to be called back.
"Y/n? what happened I thought we were going to buy Nancy a new shirt?"
"She just wear that ugly face of hers,yeah?" I asked smugly, there was no way that I was buying anything for that girl and neither was Percy.
Percy smirked,"seems fitting."
"Pun intended?"
"Pun intended."
I laughed and weaved my arm through his, "Let's get back to the others."
