Y/N had organized everything down to a tea. I decided to leave the Minotaur horn in my cabin , which left me with an extra change of neatly folded clothing and a ziplock bag with a tooth brush and a tube of toothpaste and dental floss and a bag of blue candy.

The camp store loaned me one hundred dollars in mortal money and twenty golden drachmas. These coins were as big as girl scout cookies an had images of Greek gods on one side and the Empire state building on the other.

Chiron said the coins might come in handy for nonmortal transactions.

Whatever that meant.

He gave Annabeth, Y/N and I each a canteen of nectar and ambrosia squares only to be used in emergencies.

Y/N was bringing her lasso of truth, which she told me was a gift from her stepdad, Hephaestus, when she came to camp. She carried a small bag full of beauty supplies and her famous Mist perfume, an extra pair of sparkling heart shaped shades.
And a brush that was actually a knife.

A questionable accessory, then again we are talking about Y/N.

The last thing that she brought was the bracelets she'd made at Montauk. For some reason she hadn't yet passed them out to whoever she was giving them too.

Since she packed everyone else's bags she made us go through them to see what we had , what we didn't and whatever we wanted to add.

We waved goodbye to the other campers took one last look at the strawberry fields , the ocean , an dthe Big House, the we hiked up Half-Blood Hill to the pine tree that used to be Thalia Grace , daughter of Zeus. Y/N pressed her palm against the tree and whispered a soft ,"see you later."

........

Luke came running up the hill, carrying a pair of basketball shoes.

I frowned at the distaste that filled my mouth as she approached, my expression darkening. I hated that I had let him get to me, but what he said to me was enough to keep me up at night.

It was so creepy and vile that I averted my gaze before his eyes met mine. I refused to forgive him so easily. Something was wrong with Luke.

And the fact that I couldn't figure it out or tell what it was pissed me off.

I reached for Percy's hand, staring at my feet. I probably looked shy and introverted.

Truth is I was losing my mind.

Luke's presence is setting me off. It's different. Borderline wrong. Off. Something is wrong!

But what is it?!

Why is everything packing up on my shoulders?
