The silence is so loud.

The scream begins in my lower back and works it's way up through my body only to jam in my throat.

Thalia's neck snaps and I screamed at the top of my lungs.

There is no escape from the future , demigod.

I scream and grip the strands of my hair aggressively.

The sky turns a bloody shade of red and the clouds turn black as night. Big creatures with leather wings swoop down and pluck people from escaping crowds. They use their large jagged beaks to puncture holes in their victims heads , crushing their skulls and tearing at their brains.

My body froze in fear at the gore around me.

Death is coming

Percy kneels with his back facing me and I drop my fear and run to him in panic. "Percy!"

My face goes blank as my blood runs cold, I had to cover my mouth at the gruesome sight, oh Percy.

His beautiful green eyes stared into mine wide with so much fear that he looked insane. Small droplets of blood spilled from the corners of his eyes and as they rolled down his cheek, he hacked up blood. A sob racked my body as I fell to my knees in front of him and clutched his head in my hands.

The capillaries in his eyes burst and blood suddenly I was blinded by blood.

I screamed and crawled away from him frantically. I cried out and dragged my palms across my face trying to claw the blood out of my eyes , the same blood that dripped into my mouth as I screamed.

I screamed like the ground beneath me had disappeared and I was falling to the Earth's core.

My cries were cut off as a hand clamps around my throat and squeezes tightly.

With my sight obscured by my best friends blood, I raised my arms trying to fell from the persons face.

"You lied. You lied and we died because of you. All of this death and pretence for what? They all died horrible deaths , Percy choked on poison, Annabeth lost her mind and threw herself from a cliff. Thalia , well she never had a chance , Ethan screamed your name as he fell to his death and Jake melted to death, Selena was mutilated, Andre-"

"Stop please!" I screamed.

"Andre died with his heart in his throat. Clarisse-"

I clawed at the hands around my throat and smalled my fist against their hands. "Shut up! shut up! shut up?"

People screamed as the were slaughtered mercilessly and a deep taunting laugh filled the air turning the air cold.

Everything smelled like death and I could see nothing.

And for the first time in my life I was glad to lost my sight.

The picture of Percy's face was enough to make my lose my will to live and now this!

Why this!

Why them!?

Suddenly I was free falling. "No!"

I tried to grabbing onto anything and sobbed when all I felt was air.

"No! Please! Somebody! Percy!"

The capillaries in my eyes are bursting.
