Chapter 4 -Will you marry me ?

Today is the day.

I’m gonna ask her to marry me.

She wasn't home yet. She went at the academy because she had some projects to give to her teachers, she had to go to the grocery store and she also went to the studio to pick up some stuff for me. While she was gone, Mike came at my house to help me. He brought some roses that I told him to get. He helped me set the dinner and set the table. Tonight will be perfect. I texted Ashley to know when she'll be home. She said around 6. So when the table was set with the Fondue on it, Mike left. I put the scrapbook beside me in the wheelchair. I will give it to her after we ate. So I just wait at the table before she came. I even put a suit for the night. Mike has helped me to put it, it was awkward.

Everything was perfect. I just needed to wait for my little baby to come home. 10 minutes later, I heard a car coming. It was her. She came inside with bags of food.

'' Hi Baby ! What?? You made me dinner?? '' 

'' Mike helped me. This is our night Ashley. '' 

'' Ohhw Josh ! '' She put the bags down and she came to kiss me. 

'' Just let me take the other bags in the car and I'll be back '' 

'' Perfect ''

She gave me another kiss and went to the car. After she brought everything inside, she sat beside me.

'' You don't know how it feels great to just sit and relax with you Josh.'' 

'' I thought I would do that for you. My turn to treat you well '' She smirked,

This dinner was amazing. Fondue is something that I love so much. We talked about many stuff. We laughed, we enjoyed the moment. For desert, we ate chocolate fondue. It was delicious. While we were finishing eating desert, Josh stopped and told me:

'' Ashley, I have a little gift for you '' 

'' Ohww Josh '' he gave me a book. A scrapbook. On the top, it was wrote 'To my Porcelain ''

I opened it, there was pictures and messages. I started to read :

‘’ Once upon a time, there was this man called Josh. He was the lead singer in a band called Marianas Trench. When he was young, he went through many problems. He was depressive, he suffered from anorexia, bulimia, cutting and many stuff. He was also an heroin addict. He was a total disaster.

He found inspiration and hopes into music. So he quit everything. But he was not happy like it would of like to. He needed someone to walk with him through this life full of hard times. He needed someone to love. Someone who would love him back. Someone who would make him feel like he deserves to be here.

So one day, while he was on tour with his band, he met a girl. Oh damn, this girl was freaking beautiful. She was just there, in the back of the Arena where they were playing. She was alone: singing... So he went to talk to her. One of the best decisions he ever made. At the first look, he fell for her. Those brown hair... blue eyes...incredible smile... perfect voice... He couldn’t resist. So they came closer, and closer, and closer. One day, while he was playing I’ll Be for her, they kissed for the first time. Of course, they fell in love. Josh fell in love for her like no one before. After their little trip in Halifax, where they realized that they couldn’t live apart, they came back to his house in Vancouver. She was coming with him to study music. One of her biggest dream.

This is where the magic happened. Josh, who was still a virgin at this time, gave himself to this one girl. He knew she was the right one. He was soooo in love with her. For him, she was his porcelain. He waited his whole life for her. Waiting for her was worth it. Because this moment will be in his memories for ever. The night was perfect.
