Mikayla's POV:
Soon, everyone had left the pool. Well, everyone except for me. I sat at the edge of the pool wading my feet in the cool water. Everyone around me was playing games with their friends. I wanted to join, but me being my shy self didn't approach them. I walked back to my stuff and read my book I brought. A little while later, I got extremely bored. My friends always made me laugh and have fun! I was never bored with them. "Well, I better get home. There isn't anything else to do." I muttered to myself. I grabbed my pink and white chevron beach bag and walked back to my house.
As I approached my house, I saw that the mail flag was up. "What? Mail on Sunday?" I questioned. I was a little curious, so I peeked inside. Inside I saw a letter, a letter addressed to me! I got so excited and ran up the driveway into my house and into my room. I ripped open the letter as quickly as I could. When I saw what was inside, I almost screamed. I would've, but my sister was sleeping. If I woke her up, I would get in HUGE trouble.
Inside was a letter.
Not just any ordinary letter.
