19- The Conversation

Milly's POV

We walked down the stairs. Emma lead us to the kitchen where an unopened bag of lays was on the counter. "Ooh!" Caitlyn said as she walked over to the bag of lays. Emma grabbed her arm and gave her a  we-need-to-do-something-right-now  look. Caitlyn frowned and nodded. Emma coughed to get our parents attention. They looked at us. I gave a nervous glance to my friends. "Hogwarts." As soon as I said the word Emma's parents gave each other a look. Emma's mom opened her mouth to speak but Caitlyn cut her off. 

"Mrs. Sewell, please listen to us. We have evidence" Caitlyn showed her the pictures and the letter. "Its identical. Please let Emma go to Hogwarts, our parents are! Right?" Caitlyn looked at all of our parents and they were all nodding or said yes. I looked at Caitlyn, expecting to see her thinking of a new argument if Emma's parents had said no again. Instead, she had taken this opportunity to open the bag of lays and eat some. I had thought of an argument but right as I opened my mouth Mr. and Mrs. Sewell were standing up and asked to talk to us alone. Our parents left the room leaving Caitlyn,  Mikayla, Me, and the Sewells. "We know Hogwarts is real and we know that you guys are Witches. We are just worried about sending emma to London. We know that if one of you isn't going, none of you will go. The wizarding world can be dangerous." I couldn't get past the fact that they knew Hogwarts was real. "Wait, you know Hogwarts is real?! How? Why did you make me go through all of this confusion and sadness!" Said  Emma. "Emma, stop and let us explain, your grandmother didn't die of old age. She died because she was caught in a duel. Someone used the killing curse and she died. We don't want to lose you either." 

"We would be students, safe in Hogwarts right?" I said.

"Milly, Hogwarts is safe but once you are out of school anything can happen to you."

We couldn't think of anything to say.

"This has been our dream ever since we read the first book. We have been waiting for this moment for all of our lives. Don't kill the dream." Said Mikayla. 

Emma's parents exchanged a look and looked at us.

"Fine. You are going to Hogwarts"

We couldn't believe it.

We were going to Hogwarts. This was no longer a dream, It was reality.
