Dear Ms. Caitlyn Dosfan,

We are very pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 6. Please send your raven no later than July 31.

A staff member will be visiting you soon.

CD- I am so overly excited right now

MO- So am i!! Probs for different reasons tho

CD- Idk, theres always a possibility!

MH- you 2 are not the only ones super excited :)

MO- what are you guys excited about?

CD- it would be kinda awkward if u guys didn't get the letter...

MH- a letter?!?!?

CD- FORGET I SAID ANYTHING

MO- No its okay! I got one as well!!

MH- Did it start with an H?

MO- ... and end with an s?

CD- Maybe...

MO- WAS THE WORD HOGWARTS?!?!?

CD- YAS

MO- I got it too!!!

MH- same here!!!

CD- Hey, wheres Emma?

"MOM!" I shouted, having absolutely no clue where she was. I turned around to face the kitchen. She was standing in the doorway.

"What?" she questioned. I smiled like an idiot, I was so happy.

"Read this." I handed her the letter.

I looked back at the envelope, wishing I hadn't demolished it. It would have been a great keepsake. Maybe I could save it with tape.

"I- I don't know what this means." My mom was staring at the letter.

I sighed. "Mom. I got accepted to a magic school. Like in Harry Potter. There is always some truth in fiction. Turns out there is magic!! I HAVE TO GO!!!"

My mom sighed. "I don't know if you can. What about airfare? How much is tuition?"

"Mom, as far as I know, there are less than 10 magic schools in the WORLD. There isn't even one in this country. Tuition is free. Airfare, I have absolutely no clue."

"I just don't know, Caitlyn."
