"I'm ready to go, get me the hell out of here." I growled interrupting the conversation Nev, Max, and Maya were having.

"Jacob what's wro-"

"Don't you dare ask me whats wrong Nev because what isn't wrong! I just want to leave."

"Jacob come on." Nev said as he stood up and led me outside the camera men quickly followed behind us like a swarm of bees.

"I'm not saying shit until they leave."

"Guys please—come on excuse us for a minute." Nev told the men they nodded and walked back into the house

"What's going on Jacob? you having second thoughts about your decision with Selena?"

"Yes and no." I answered honestly "She asked me to stay here but I can't my roots are in California, my friends my career just about everything I have you know?" I paused "So I asked her to come back with me to California but she declined. I offered her a home for her and her cousin and she still refused and I just got so pissed and she called me inconsiderate because I wasn't thinking about how her life would change and what not."

"I agree with her." Nev stated honestly "and before you get mad and try to go off on me just listen."

I stared at Nev not wanting to hear anything else he had to say

"It is inconsiderate because you're just thinking about yourself-"

"No I'm not n-"

"Jacob listen." He interrupted "You know how you feel about California? you feel attached to it everything you love and own is there you said that for yourself imagine leaving that all behind and having to adapt to whole new place, and make new friends after you've gotten so used to everything that's a hard transition."

I was silent as I listened to Nev

"That's not an easy decision to make right on the spot she may have felt pressured did you give her time to think about it?"

"No, I stormed out and I said something harsh to her she probably hates me by now." I said as holding my head in my hands

"What did you say?"

The horrific flashback from approximately five minutes ago flooded back into my memory

"Think of all the possibilities..Jacob this isn't a good idea.." Selena stated

"You know what else wasn't a good idea? Me coming here." I hissed angrily "You weren't what I was expecting anyways."

Nev stared at me his mouth gaped halfway open

"So you're still hurt about her not being who she proclaimed she was?"

"I am, I didn't want to show her that Nev but all I could think about was what happened to me previously. It scares me and it still does she could just turn on me just like India did."

"That's what this is about..Jacob I highly doubt those are her intentions she took the time..to fix you.."

"Yeah..but she could also take the time to break me."

Nev stared at me not knowing how to respond..
