Vampire's Love

Chapter 1

I've been a vampire for as long as I can remember. No I wasn't born a vampire if that is what you were thinking. I was turned into one by my ex-boyfriend, if he couldn't have me then no one could. So heads up don't date or break up with a vampire. When I was human my name was Elizabeth, I think, but I changed it to Rose after a few centuries. See I change my name to what my vampiric powers are. I can control roses and turn them into a weapon. For example I can use the seeds to make a cage if I throw them into the ground.

"Hey Rose, Pa wants the entire clan to meet in the Grand Hall. We are just waiting on you." Sally said walking in.

Sally was a small vampire, she was turned when she was a kid. Her ability was to block out the others powers, she can even block out my power. She was one of the first Pa brought in the clan, so the rumors say. Other than her small structures she dressed the part of a loli girl. When the clan asked why she dressed that way her answer was always the same, and that was because "I can". But she was nice all in all, and acted like our mother when we needed a shoulder to cry on, or advice about our vampire life.

"OK let me just get a shirt on, then I will come down." I responded after I took out my headphones.

I was in the gym that the house has. I normally don't have a shirt on when I workout. Just because I'm a vampire doesn't mean I always have abs. After I get my shirt on I head down the stairs to the Grand Hall. When I opened up the door I saw all of our clan, some new vampires, another clan, and some humans. I was more confused than ever. When I looked around again I saw Jessica, one of my oldest friends I made when I first got here.

"Hey Jess, what's going on here?" I whispered towards her ear.

"I don't know I just got here but I don't think this will end pretty." Jessica said with a scared look on her face.

Jessica has the power to see in people's hearts. She can see how everyone feels without them telling her. It got her in trouble most times with our clan and others. She was an average looking person. And she always dressed like she had somewhere to go. Not the normal going out, but like a business meeting outfit.

"I heard that the humans want to make a treaty with us and that clan, but that is what people are saying. I can't really hear what Pa is saying due to Sally's powers. But you might want to grab one of those roses, Rose, just in case there's a fight." When I turned around I saw James. He can hear everything through anything, he can find someone just by listening to their heartbeats. Let's say he was the typical class clown. He was turned as a teenager. I can estimate when someone turned based on their looks.

"Why do you say that? Everything looks normal to me." Jessica asked, looking at him then everyone else.

"Look at Pa's stance, it looks like he's ready to fight. That is why almost everyone is ready to defend themself if needed." He explained to her, the best he could.

After he made that comment Sally put down the shield and Pa turned to speak to everyone. "My children, humans, and the other clan, this meeting was sent for a treaty between both of the vampire clan in front of you and the group of humans. With the discussion I have, I would like both my son and daughter to step forward." He paused to let me and the one I called my brother step up with me. "With you two the treaty would be complete."

"Complete, but how Pa? What part do we have to play?" Jackson asked.

Jackson was one that had the power to control anything without a heartbeat. In my opinion he has a badass power, and useful if we ever go to war with another clan.

"Jackson, you will marry Anny from the other vampiric clan." He paused to let that sink in Jackson's mind, and I started to laugh at the fact that he is bringing her into our family. Anny was a stubborn brats who complained about... well everything. I don't know her vampiric powers, but on the other hand I didn't really care. "I wouldn't be laughing if I was you Rose." Pa said looking at me with a sinister grin, "because you will be uniting the humans with us. Meet your fiancé Alexander Talon." Pa giggled a little at the look I had.
