After we sat and talked for a little while I realized that it was time for a meeting I had with the other oldbloods. So I went to that, I also saw Anny there with Jackson. Jackson didn't look very happy at the meeting. I assumed that it was Anny's fault, but I wasn't sure on that. After we took our spots at the table and the people that were shadowing us took a seat behind us, we got started. We talked about all the normal stuff, like how the newbloods are doing and if the suppliers are still with us. Then we get into the normal argument that is always on our mind: what is the rebellion of newbloods thinking and what are we going to do about it? Of course I stay quiet and let everyone talk it out or until I'm brought in the argument. But today I feel the same so I will wait to be brought in. The discussion about the newbloods got a little more heated up when one of the oldbloods mentioned the district they are from. That got Pa mad so he stopped the discussion right away and made everyone move on to a new topic. It wasn't like Pa to do this so Sally brought up the topic on her own.

"What are we going to do about all the newbloods we are getting this week? It's not like the other clans to just give them to us." The look on Sally's face made it look like she was worried.

"Nothing, we will accept them like always. You know that some clans don't accept newbloods nowadays because of the rebellion. So like Pa wants we will accept them." One of the more older oldbloods had a good point and he got it through.

"Ya but if we keep accepting them then we would run out of rooms and living supplies? And that would be bad." One of the other oldbloods adds to what Sally ment.

"Pa it's up to you, do we keep accepting them and just keep building or do we pass them up and give them to another clan? This is a choice I think only you can make." Jackson was one to get straight to the point at these meetings and he always did just that.

After Jackson asked Pa that question, he just stayed in that position he always has when he was thinking. He crossed his fingers and placed the weight of his head on them. Then he turned to me and asked the same question he always does when I haven't gotten involved before.

"What do you think we should do?" I hate when he gets me involved like this. Especially on this question.

"Well the rebellion newbloods can control their thirst just like us oldbloods or commonbloods can so we put them to a test. We isolate them and make where they don't think we're watching, after that we send a human in with a cut. If the newbloods attacks then he or she can be accepted..." I started before one of the oldbloods cut me off.

"But what if they don't attack or what if they see right through us?" He was a little scared that I could see all of the other leaders were. "And on top of that what will happen to the human?"

"Well the human will be near a door so he or she could just run out when needed. And Pa's clan has a lie detector on hand to see if they are lying or telling the truth. And if they refuse to cooperate we have someone for that too. So any questions?" I was worried that this wasn't going to work out but all in all most of the oldbloods agreed. That also included Pa, Sally, and Jackson with the idea.

After we finished up our meeting and left the meeting room it was already dawn and most of the hunters were getting ready to leave. Some of the hunters were just kids and they had what humans called school. It was still new to me, but not to them. I guess they enjoy living with people of their own kind and in the year they grew up in. After I said good day to everyone and got ready for bed I had a knock on my door. Before I could answer Jessica busted in.

"Hey, do you have time to talk? I wanted to ask about your dreams, they seemed to be bothering you all day." She asked as she took a seat at the foot of my bed.

"It's nothing to worry about. I'm fine, it was just a small memory I think." I tried to ease her mind but she can see right through me.

"That's not what your heart said. So tell me what happened, please, it won't hurt." I guess she's right but how.

"Well I guess I had an older brother named Justin. We were going shopping for our mother and the next thing I know he's asking me why I killed our father. The thing is I never killed a human out of all my years. So I don't know why he would ask me that." I was starting to tear up but none actually left my eyes.

"Well you did have that time where you would black out as a newbloods so maybe you might have hurt your father or others in that matter. Do you know what year you were in or the season?" To be honest I didn't even remember the name of the town I was in.

"No I don't, I don't even remember my own parents name. But it's fine I can remember what they look like so I don't really care." I knew that would ease her mind but not for long.

"OK if you say so, I also can tell you're getting tired so I'll let you sleep. Sweet dreams." Before I could say anything she got up and left.
