Chapter 3

"Elizabeth come out and play, it's a beautiful day. And Dad said you need to get out of the house. I was going to the market if you want you can come with me." A boy said, knocking on the door.

"Ya sure let me just get dressed, oh and Justin let Mother know where we are going." I responded.

"Today is a beautiful day, mother said to pick up some things from the market you OK with a little shopping Lizzie?" Justin asked as we entered the market.

"Ya I did miss the outdoors, the sun feels nice. Don't you think Justin?" I questioned his thoughts.

"Ya it sure does, that dress also looks nice on you is that one Father brought home for you?"

"Ya he did, I was worried it wouldn't fit me."

"Elizabeth what is wrong with you why did you kill Father?" Justin was covered in blood and turned to me.

The scenery changed after he asked that. The sky turned light red and the market was on fire. I looked around to see that everyone was dead, it scared me to the point that my hair turned red and started to grow.

"What no I didn't, Justin please believe me. I would never hurt you." I claimed trying to reach him, but stopped when he pulled out a stake.

"Rose, hey Rose wake up." I shot up to Alexander's face looking at me worried like. "Are you OK? It looked like you were having a nightmare." He did seem worried but I was worried why he was in my bedroom, and how he knew which one was mine.

"Um, ya, but why are you in my room? How did you know this was my room?" I was still half awake so my powers were unpredictable, and I don't like using them unless I'm being cornered.

"I heard a scream and it just happened to be you, that's all. And who is Justin?" He said changing the subject off of him and onto me.

I looked around for the curtains to see if the sun was still out, and it was. I looked back at him and I could smell blood. Oh god did I hurt him, is he bleeding, we still have newbloods here so that's not good.

"I need to know, are you bleeding right now?" I was serious about this.

"Ya, but..." before he could finish I grabbed his arm and pulled him into the bathroom. "Hey I said it was nothing, a bandage would be fine."

"OK let me explain something to you. We have Newbloods here and if they smell the blood they would mess up this entire treaty. Do you even know what a newblood is?" I look up at his face to see a concerned look.

"No but I have a feeling you're going to tell me." he said with a smile.

"There are freshly turned vampires. They can't control there thrust like most of us oldbloods, secretbloods, or commonbloods. But this would be a conversation for tonight. So how did you get cut?" I said, wrapping his arm in spider silk.

"One of your thorns got me. So who is this Justin guy, should I be worried about him?" He was clever but not that clever.

"I need to get back to sleep. We have a big night coming up. So if you don't mind?" I said pointing to him to leave.

"OK but I will bring it back up next time we meet. Tell then I will abide you adieu." He said walking out the door.

After he left I walked to my bed and sat down, when I did I looked at my alarm clock to see that it was only 1:45 in the afternoon. I was never awake at that time, but that nightmare has been happening every time. And that Justin guy was new in them, I just started seeing him. Usually it was about my past mother and father or about my life as a noble woman. But never him, I laid back down and closed my eyes. This time the dream was about when I first met him, the man that turned me. When I heard my alarm go off I shot up again because it scared me. Then I heard a knock on the door.

"Uh, ya it's open." I yell at the person on the other side.

After I said that Sally walked in, "hey, Pa said he would like to see you, before you go and train the newbloods." She nodded then left.
