Vampire's Love

Chapter 6

"Oh so sorry sir I didn't mean to, are you OK?" I really didn't see him there.

"No I'm fine, are you OK, you ran into me pretty hard." He said as he extended his hand to help me up and I accepted it.

He looked like a fine gentleman and was also very handsome. But there is something about him that made me a little uneasy. I just can't figure it out. I think I've seen him before but I'm not sure. As he pulled me up I can see his mysterious blue eyes shine off the lantern that was hanging above me. When I was on my feet I could hear my father call for me as he made his way to me.

"Oh there you are Miss.Elizabeth I was looking everywhere for you, it's not safe out here. Especially with that monster that has been attacking all the farm animals. Master William, I found her." I forgot about Missy. She was always my father's favorite mistress. Father thought that nobody knew about them but sadly I did.

"Elizabeth, why did you run away, when I called for you?" He didn't look mad but he didn't look happy either. "And who is this gentleman I see before me?" That was a good question, I forgot to ask his name.

"I am Jake Mixin. It's nice to meet you sir." He was so nice and charming.

"Thank you for protecting my daughter Mr. Mixin." Then that same feeling came back and the sky turned red again, the beautiful dream turned back into a nightmare. "So tell me why, why did you do this to my daughter? Why is she a monster like you?"

"Father, what's wrong with your neck, why are you bleeding so much?" I was starting to get scared. "Who did this to you?"

"You don't remember hurting us, you don't remember using your cured powers on us?" My father's voice started to change, and then more people started to appear.

"You don't remember killing all of us?" Their voices started to echo and I must have lost control over my power because the voice stopped until there was only one left.

"And know you will do it again. All you do is kill, sister, and he will be the start." The voice came from Justin.

After Justin said that I shot up and saw that my room was covered in thorns and roses. When I looked around nobody was there and I didn't smell any blood. For now all the humans were safe but I don't know for how long. I feel different somehow, and I don't know why. So I got up and put on my workout clothes. I might get the nightmare out of my head if I go and workout. I spent about an hour before Pa walked in to see why there was noise coming from the gym room at this hour.

"Hey couldn't sleep?" Pa's voice was sweet and calm.

"Had a bad dream, hey Pa can I ask you a question?" I said sitting down on one of the benches.

"Yes go ahead, usually Sally is the one for this but I can give it a shot." That comment made me smile a little bit but not much.

"Why did you chose me to be your daughter, I'm not a secretblood like Jackson or Sally." I was a little confused but hopefully he can clear my mind.

"But you are an oldblood, that is good enough for me. You knew how to control your powers back when you were a newblood; and with powers like yours that is rear." He said, looking down at me.

"That's where you're wrong. I can only control them when I'm awake. I hurt Alex two nights ago. I'm afraid that I might..." I take a deep breath.

"Well child that's not entirely true. Your powers react when you feel threatened and your dreams are tricking your mind into thinking you are in danger. So tell me why that is?" Pa asked me like I know the answer
