Chapter 15

"Baby are you done yet?" I hear Gio ask outside the door of my room. "No give me like 5 minutes" I respond back to him as I hurry to finish getting ready. I had promised to go to the ranch farm with both Leo and Giovanni today but I didn't know they'll leave this early.

"You said that 5 minutes ago" he yells and I just rolled my eyes as I hear his foot steps leave behind my door.

It's currently 7:20 am and I'm regretting making that promise to them. I could easily change my mind and I know they'll understand but I've already woken up so might as well just finish getting ready. I walk into my closet, finding a long white dress to wear. Gio said I'll just be staying in his office and not doing anything so instead of wearing something farm related I decided to just wear whatever. After breading my ginger braids into two pigtails, I wore a pair of comfy brown boots and headed out the door. I felt too lazy to do my makeup so I didn't bother with it.

"What are you wearing?" Leo says as I walk toward him and Gio. "Um a dress? And what happened to 'Good morning my beautiful perfect girl' I say in a joking tone with my brow raised up. He chuckles and comes to wrap his hands around my waist but I back up. "Nope not happening" I say to him but he wraps his hands around my waist anyway, pulling me in for a hug.

"Im just concerned your dress is gonna get dirty" he says, breathing me in as he settles his hands on my ass. I break the hug and look at him confused. "Why would it get dirty?" I ask him and he also looks at me confused. "Because you're gonna be helping me at the farm princess". I look at him, then look towards Gio who's clearly annoyed by the fact we're going to late...mainly my fault. "Gio you said I was just gonna be in your office all day" I say and he looks at Leo.

"That was the plan but come on, don't you want to explore the farm some more!? At least look around and learn how to do something before you start getting serious for your teacher stuff". Leo says with a nervous laugh.

"Teacher stuff?" I ask knowing exactly what he means. "You know? Planning lessons and stuff, it's probably stressful so you might not have time later to-" I cut him off with a kiss, already loving the way his cheeks flushed. I let my hands run through his messy curls as he looks up at me.

"Okay fine, I'll go change" I say sighing. "You don't have to! I mean you won't necessarily get dirty if you're careful but just to save you the worries" Leo says and I just nod. I look over to Gio, who's looking at his watch intensely. I feel  bad that we're already late because of me and I don't want us being more late because I have to go change.

"You know what? I don't mind getting dirty, let's just go" I say , taking Leo's hand as we head towards Gio. He quickly picks his keys off the table and I grab his hands aswell and we head out of the house.

After arriving here at the farm, Leo immediately pulled me to wherever he was going. I didn't even get to say bye to Gio and before I knew it was cleaning fucking chicken shit. Leo had me doing a lot of cleaning and feeding to the animals. He also cleaned and fed them as well but honestly didn't understand how he enjoyed doing this.

Absolutely nothing wrong with cleaning animal shit...just not for me, but I enjoyed feeding the animals. It was surprisingly relaxing and that gave both me and leo an opportunity to open up more and talk about things. Wether they were irrelevant or not it was nice to just talk and laugh.
