//18 July
Jae woke up to the alarm she had set to be early for work. Yoongi had told her that Sejin wanted her to meet him first thing in the morning and it had to be a little early as he had a really busy schedule ahead of him.
They were spooning, her back flush with his front and his large hand laying casually on her stomach, spanning her entire waist. His face was buried in her neck and Jae shivered at the intimacy of the position they were in.
She quickly turned off the alarm to let Yoongi sleep a little more and tried to slowly get out of his arms. But it seemed like her soulmate was a light sleeper because he woke up as soon as she moved and made a confused noise.
"Aniya, go back to sleep." Jae whispered as she got out of the bed and he squinted at her sleepily.
"Where...?" He asked in a voice that made her feel things she couldn't even comprehend. His already deep voice was lowered even more to a rough baritone and she suppressed an urge to dive back into the bed.
"I need to get ready to go to the office today. I am scheduled to meet Sejin-ssi in an hour."
"Ah, ye I remember. Let's go together, I need to be at the company too."
Jae raised her eyebrows at that statement. She was pretty sure Meera had told her that Yoongi had the morning off. The younger girl had teased her incessantly last evening and had let that piece of information slip followed by wiggling eyebrows.
Maybe he planned to work on his songs or something, Jae shrugged and proceeded to get ready.
She was sitting on the dining table munching on some toast while she waited for Yoongi when the front door beeped indicating someone was entering. She looked up to see a rather disheveled Jungkook stumbling through the door and struggling to remove his large black combat boots. His shirt was crumpled and his hair looked like he hadn't showered for two days.
For someone like Jae who was used to seeing the maknae of BTS always looking either cute or really handsome and generally well dressed and well groomed, this kind of look was a real shock. When he finally managed to remove his shoes and trudged further into the living room, he froze when he noticed Jae sitting at the dining table watching him.
His expression was sheepish as he muttered a good morning and walked into the kitchen for a glass of water. Jae could have sworn his eyes were completely red-rimmed and swollen and he reeked of alcohol when he passed her. But then she decided it wasn't her place to say or assume anything.
Maybe he was working late at the company, recording songs or something or maybe he had just partied with his friends. She shook her head and watched the youngest idol trudging into the hallway towards his room. She just hoped he was alright.
Yoongi emerged from the hallway only a few moments after Jungkook had disappeared down it. He looked a little worried and Jae knew he must have bumped into his little brother looking like that.
He poured himself some black coffee that Jae had already prepared and sat beside her while sipping on it, staring at the table blankly. Jae stayed silent while she ate and washed her bowl and spoon as soon as she was done. She offered to get Yoongi's glass too, but he declined her offer and washed it himself.
"Let's go?" He asked and Jae nodded. She was dressed in professional attire and noticed Yoongi checking her out a little when she stood up. She got her bag and together they went down where a car was already waiting for them.
The ride to the company was silent as Yoongi scrolled on his phone and Jae watched out of the window, trying to memorise the new way to her office now. It wasn't awkward even though neither of them spoke a word, rather it was a comfortable kind of silence.
