//6 September

It was two days later that Jae saw him wincing while trying to eat soft rice at lunch and she put her foot down.

"Oppa, get ready. We are going to the dentist right now." She abandoned her own half-finished meal and glared at Yoongi to move.

Yoongi stared at her, dumbfounded at the strict tone and the stern expression she had. He had never been afraid of anyone other than his mother and father in his life. But he was now afraid of his soulmate too, he realized as he silently got up and followed her. He grabbed a casual outfit from the closet and went to change in the bathroom, trying to avoid his soulmate's glare.

"I called your manager, he'll be here in 15 minutes. I wanted to go with you, but he asked me to stay back, because of -you know- people."

Yoongi nodded silently, unable to speak much due to the pain radiating through the right side of his jaw. He watched his soulmate with amusement while she fussed at him, pleased to see how much she cared about him. She pressed an ice pack to his jaw, wanting to help him relieve the pain he was so clearly going through.

She hated how silent he was. She hated how he endured so much pain quietly without much expression while she was reeling from just feeling how much he was hurting through the bond. Yoongi returned about 2 hours later, his pain slightly dulled and a sore face.

"Wae? What happened?" She asked his manager while Yoongi went straight to their bedroom to get changed.

"His wisdom tooth is growing weirdly, making his whole jaw ache. He needs to get it removed soon." The manager told her, handing her the x-rays and a bottle of painkillers and explained everything the dentist had told them.

"I think we are going to have to postpone going to Daegu then, but Chuseok... he was so excited to spend it with his family." Jae muttered sadly, looking down at the report.

"We can go to Daegu and have the tooth removed there." Jae looked up to see Yoongi walking back into the living room.

"That can be done, I can come with you for a day or two before I take leave for Chuseok." The manager said and Yoongi nodded.

"Let's go tomorrow then. Jae, is that okay with you?" He asked and Jae nodded readily. 

"We will leave in the morning tomorrow." Yoongi announced.

"I'll bring the company car at 9. Is that okay?" He asked and Yoongi nodded.

//September 15

Jae had made a mess of herself and the closet while packing for the Bon Voyage tour. They were leaving for New Zealand the next day in the morning and she was nervous as hell to be travelling out of the country with BTS and an entire crew. It was going to be awkward for her to tag along while she was neither part of BTS nor the crew team.

She was fretting over what she was supposed to pack and if she would be allowed to even get out in the open with the sasaeng situation so fresh and recent.

That was how Yoongi found his soulmate sitting in his closet on the floor, with a suitcase open and empty in front of her and her clothes spread out in a mess.

Jae was lost in her thoughts, staring emptily at the suitcase and didn't notice Yoongi until he crouched down beside her and touched her shoulder.

"Jae?" She was startled instantly, a gasp leaving her when she noticed Yoongi sitting so close to her.

"Oppa? O, sorry I didn't... Sorry about the mess, I'll clean up right away. I was... I mean... wait a.."

"Hey, hey. Calm down. It's okay. I can understand you are nervous, though I don't know why you feel that way."
