Chapter Nine
The alpha beneath him is breathing steadily, gentle breathes of air leaving his lips as his chest lifts slowly up and down with each exhale. A pair of strong arms are wrapped around him in a gentle embrace. The soothing beating of the man's heart rests against his ear as he uses the alpha's naked chest as a human pillow.
Wooyoung glances up at the man to see that he's still fast asleep. The omega only smiles as he takes in the alpha's peaceful expression. The memories of the passion they shared a few hours before having his inner omega practically swooning, incredibly satisfied with having such wonderful alphas to please them.
He leans out to nose at the alpha's neck gently, wanting to get one last fill of that intoxicating rose scent emanating from there, as well as leave a bit of his own scent behind. The sweet mixture of jasmine and rose combines to create a perfume produced by only their two natural essences mingling, having his inner omega preening at the smell.
With one last nuzzle at the alpha's scent gland, the boy detangles himself from the man who's still dead to the world of the living. The omega is careful not to wake him as he redresses himself into his red, luxurious robes. The alpha must have cleaned him up while he was asleep because the stickiness from their previous rendezvous, the previous day, is completely void from his body.
The omega smiles one last time by the doorway of the bedroom, as he takes in the man on the bed. The alpha lets out loud snores as he moves to cuddle his pillow against his chest almost in place of the omega that was once there. Wooyoung chuckles a bit at the sight, before quietly finishing his retreat from the room.
He's quiet in his ascent to the upper deck. His bare feet are chilly against the cold wood of the ship, caused by the brisk early morning weather. The open deck is barren of any other life in the early dawn, but Wooyoung doesn't mind that one bit as he finds a comfortable spot to watch the sunrise by himself.
The omega settles down upon the ledge at the top of the ship, beside the bow, sitting with his legs crossed as he admires the ocean before him. He is lost in his own world as he appreciates the natural wonders around him. The smell of the ocean is calming as it wafts towards him with the early morning breeze. The waves are a dark blob as they crash against the ship, no light to cast against them to make them the beautiful blue hue they normally are during the daytime.
The sounds of the open sea are calming, in the earliest hours before dawn. With only him and the mysterious depths of the ocean around him, he finds peace in where he is. The omega has always found happiness in the solitude he finds with the natural wonders that the world provides.
This is just another one of those simple pleasures that he has discovered. As the first glimpse of morning light shines upon the sea, the natural light causes the deep depths of water to shine a bright blue amongst the dark navy it once was. It's not the first time he's watched the sunset by the ocean, having seen it quite a few times back in the small town of Scylla.
There's just something different about watching it from the perspective of the ship on the open ocean that makes it even more picturesque to him. Almost as if it is one of the many paintings he's begged his elder siblings to get for him, surrounding himself in the worldly wonders of nature that he never thought he would be able to see for himself.
"Mind if I join you?" A soothing voice speaks up from behind the boy, knocking him out of his peaceful reverie he had disappeared into.
