What is your favorite place to online shop at? (If you're an online shopper) 🛍️
I shop and fill my cart on Amazon a lot!▫️▫️▫️
I don't know why I did that yesterday. I was out exploring, trying to get used to the different places around the city. I walked into this small restaurant and I saw him there.
I tried to make small talk because I feel like we got off on the wrong foot. Then when the waitress showed up, he acted like I was one of his employees. Maybe, him and her are dating. That's why he tried to act like nothing was going on between us.
Not gonna lie, I didn't think that at first. So when he disregarded me like that, it kinda hurt my feelings. But after thinking about it, I'm positive he has his reasons for acting that way.
Anyways, I don't have time to dwell on that. I have a job interview I have to get to.
I just finished putting on a white blouse I bought yesterday. I also got a cute black pencil skirt to go with it. I slip on pair of black heels, which I also had to buy yesterday. I had to use up a quite a bit of my savings to afford it.
My wardrobe is just a variety of summer dresses, along with oversized t shirts and shorts. I'm probably gonna have to go back and get some more office attire, but this will do for now.
I've already tried to brush my hair and all that ever does is make it more frizzy. So I spray some hair spray to my curls, attempt to brush it once more before pulling it back into a ponytail.
I walk over to my nightstand that my parents gave me, grabbing some lipgloss and applying it. My phone starts ringing, so I drop down onto the mattress that I have on the floor. Yep, I still need to get a actual bed. Moving is so much work, so much stuff that has to be done.
I grab my phone and answer it. I already have a good idea of who's calling me.
"Hello," I say when I pick up the phone.
"Hello, my darling Rose. How are you this mornin," Peyton says in an attempted British accent.
"I'm fine, I'm about to head to a job interview," I say, getting up and grabbing my purse and car keys.
I walk out my room, going to the fridge to grab something. I open it to find a few bottles of water, a pack of lunch meat, and a string cheese stick. I really need to go grocery shopping.
"A job interview, why?" she asks.
"It's just until I can find a decent publisher," I grab a bottle of water and close the fridge.
"Well, where is the interview?" she asks.
I walk out my apartment, making sure to lock the door behind me. Hopefully, I have enough time to stop and get something to eat for breakfast. And since I was up most of the night thinking about things, a coffee would be nice too.
"It's a PA position at Sterling Industries, I saw the job advertisement yesterday and applied," I smile at the thought of it. I'm excited for this new opportunity.
"A PA position? Well, it should definitely be a new challenge for you to overcome," she matches my enthusiasm.
"I think I can handle it. Anyways, I got to go, I'll call you later and tell you how it went," I say, as I take the elevator down to the main lobby.
We soon both hang up and go to get in my car. It's not long before I'm off down the road and just my luck there's tons of traffic. Yeah, I'm definitely not gonna have time to stop and get breakfast. I'll be lucky to make there on time with this traffic.
