"Did jay arrive yet?" I asked as I looked to Taylor from my seat. "They haven't said jordan hadn't came in." She referred to my manger. She was sitting on the black couch as I getting my makeup done at my little vanity station inside my dressing room.
I had a performance tonight, one that would be very my first one. But it wasn't all that bad, my performance was a duo, the remix to my song me and you. I was in New York away from my baby kevin who still had to work but I wasn't alone, I was in new york with taylor and kidada.
It took a lot for me to get kidada out of the house, that girl was mopping like a pet dog. Her and pac weren't together. Especially since he was dead, and her new relationships weren't working out so she was definitely going through it. 5 years and the girl hadn't gotten over it, I felt bad. But I felt even worse as I knew she had no luck on finding her happiness. But that's why I was her, that's why she had a friend in me. I had everything planned for us when we planned to go to new york, treat the girls out, do what I gotta do when I'm here and lastly get kidada and taylor laid if I had to.
"I'm still wondering how you got jay z of all people on the track?" Kidada asked me as I looked the mirror at myself after being all dolled up. "I guess he heard it on the radio. He contacted jordan since they a mutal connection and bomb we made the remix." I told her the short story as I began to smile.
"Look it was him or that amateur Tyrese. I didn't mind having him on the song but he wouldn't match my vibe. He sings more then rap and I didn't need another r and b artist whinning and groaning over my song. Shit if I wanted that I could have gotten jodeci." I ranted making taylor chuckle. My makeup artist paused as he took one look at me, he let out a chuckle himself as he carefully fixed my newly done hair.
"Girl you speaking the truth." He said to me making me clasp my hand with him. "Finally a man who can take my jokes, if I said anything bad about jodeci infront timbaland that man would have a whole ass stroke and look both way to see if they heard from a afar. I think he's traumatized though, devante did beat his ass once."

Kidada laughed, it the very first time I've heard it in a long time. "Whose Elgin?" Taylor asked. I hadn't told her about him.

"I still don't get it." Her confused self said as she leaned her head. "Elgin is ginuwine." Kidada informally said as she batted her eyes at Taylor.
"You got with him!? He is that Elgin you always talked about!"
