In the four years that Gavin and I have been together as husband and wife, our daily life has been fine. I was at home and he was at work. He doesn't want me to work. Kahit na pilit ko siyang kinukulit. It only ends up in an argument when that's our topic.
I didn't open that topic again because I didn't want Gavin and I to fight anymore. Because the last fight we had was about that, he ran away and went to a bar. He came home drunk, but his friend Gino was with him and he drove him.
Nag-aaway man kami ngunit hindi namin ipinagpapabukas iyon. Kailangan bago kami matulog ay bati kami. Dahil ayaw namin na may samaan kami ng loob pagkagising.

I looked at the door when it opened. Gavin came in with a tired face and disheveled clothes. I put down the book I was holding and greeted him. He kissed me and then hugged me.
"You are tired"sabi ko.
He nuzzled into my neck and nodded.
"So tired, wife. Pero mawawala rin 'to dahil nasa tabi na kita"paos niyang sabi.
I hit him on his chest so he let go of me.
"Ikaw talaga"I said shaking my head. "Let's eat, I cooked your favorite menudo"
I saw that his eyes were shining so I laughed. When the dish is really menudo, he becomes happy. Napaparami pa nga ng kain siya.
Nagtungo na kami sa kusina para kumain pero bago iyon ay ininit ko muna iyon. After we ate, he was the one to do the washing up. I told him to rest but he was really naughty so I let it go.
I went up to our room and cleaned up then changed my sleeping clothes. I also fixed our messy bed. While I was fixing, I heard the door open so I looked.
"Change your clothes"i said.
He nodded and went straight to the bathroom. While waiting for him, I read a book first. I'm reading this because it's a wattpad story. Since when I was in Junior high, I've been interested in reading things like this, at first it was only on my cellphone, but later I started buying books. I even have shelves at home full of Wattpad books.
At first, Gavin used to get angry with me when he saw me buying books again. But when he got used to it and saw that I enjoyed reading them, he let me go. He even made shelves for my books himself. This is just my hobby since I don't have a job and I'm just here at home.
I only go out of the house when my friends Glheana or my family invite me.
I heard Gavin come out of the bathroom but because I was reading I didn't look at him.
I heard him tsked.
The bed sagged and he leaned against the headboard.
"You're still not done reading that?"he said with irritation in his voice.
I turned to him and immediately returned to what I was reading.
"Yes"my answer.
"Tsk, you read that over and over again"he said.
Napairap naman ako. Ano naman ngayon? Siya ba ang nagbabasa? Di ba ako?
"Of course, asawa ko kaya 'to"
I saw that his face suddenly darkened and he looked at me evilly. I bit my lip because of his reaction.
"So, mas uunahin mo pa'yan kaysa sa totoo mong asawa?"he said coldly.
