Chapter 3: Real or Fake Tears
I’m sauntering my way to the theatre club to audition for the upcoming school play. My feet travel on its own with the mere fact that Van and Angeline are going to audition for the lead roles. Wanna know my source? Well, I don’t need any. Besides, Faith is always there babbling about any information she gathers without anyone asking anyway.
My thoughts of intensity of a plan to break Van and Angeline down leads me into deep concentration. Mindless of my surroundings, I inadvertently tumble on the concrete floorboards as I slumped into someone.
“Are you alright?”
I snap away every single stars and heavenly bodies of dizziness out of my cloudy vision seeing a hand out stretched for me to hold on.
Why do I always fall to the ground?
Wait. Isn’t his voice familiar?
I gradually direct my gaze upward to those legs, fit slim body, tall structure… until I reach his face. He still has those same dark gloomy blue eyes with a plastered bliss on his lips.
What is he doing here?!?!
Confirmed with my presumption that he’s Mr. Stranger whom I met yesterday, I stand on myself taking no notice on his outstretched hand. As soon as I gain my composure, he takes his hand back awkwardly.
“I’m fine.” As soon as possible, all I want to do is to leave right away hoping that he won’t recognize me even though I’m in complete disguise yesterday. Adrenaline rush starts to panic me again.
I made up my mind to step away and continue my way to the audition hall but Mr. Stranger hinders me. “Wait!”
“What?” Instead of being nervous that he’d notice me from yesterday. I stare at him with my sinister glare that takes effect on every victim to have every strand of their hair straighten.
“Can I ask you something?” He still maintains his smile having my glare take no effect on him.
“You’re already asking.” I looked back at my path and started to perambulate again.
He follows me catching up with my strides. “Where’s the audition hall for the theatre play?”
“We’re here.”
As soon as I open the enormous door leading to the massive audition hall, Van and Angeline are acting together in front of the judges.
“What’s happening?” I manage to ask a student assistant who’s bored of waiting them to finish.
“They’re now auditioning for the lead roles.”
I took the paper she gave me and read the short instructions for the required first scene.

Description: Embody the emotions when the person you love the most hurts you.
Time lapse: at least 5 minutes
“Is the description complete?” I approach the student assistant again while checking both sides of the paper but only found the back page blank.
“That’s all. And you’re partner will be chosen randomly by the judges as you’ll perform on the stage.”
I’m quite shocked that the description of the scene is not explained well.
