I chose a house instead of a condo and its not yet furnished but I can afford to get everything. It's more like mansion. It cost me my whole bank account. Maybe not all of it but about 50 percent of it. It's not my money anyway but still Cardo will probably kill me when he checks his accounts. He filters the accounts with money from Sarah's life insurance policy. I still only had my parents life insurance money. I hadn't touched any of the 600,000 that's in there. Using it felt wrong. This was my mom and dad's life savings I was using. They worked so hard to save it up.
We leave today and I already had everything moved to the House so I'm officially done with the hotel. I decided to leave a little earlier than planned for San Francisco.
Nala loves it but I know she misses her other home. We are getting a cab to take us to the airport so I can leave my car at the garage where I feel like it will be the safest. We are currently driving to the airport. I'm kind of nervous about everything but I don't think he will hurt me again. My phone rings breaking me out of my thoughts. "Hello?"
"Hey Baby girl." I hear Cardo's voice. Speaking of the devil.
"Hey Cardo."
"Is this Lena?"
"Yeah."
"Oh damn! She finally answered the phone and didn't say 'fuck you'."
"Haha. You don't think you deserve it."
"I know I do. How are you?"
"I'm Fine...we're at the airport."
"Oooo I can't wait to see you and Nala. How is Elisa?"
"She's good, she is such a big helper with everything going on."
"Yeah I'm glad you got somebody. You miss me?"
"Yeah, how about you?"
"Girl you know I did. It's going to be hard to not lick you up and-"
"Okay okay I get it I'm excited to see you too." I laugh.
"You better be because when you get here I got a surprise for you."
"I have one too." I say lowly. I haven't yet told him I'm staying in Connecticut.
"Huh?"
"Nothing ba- uh I got to go."
"Alright I'll see you when you get here."
"Okay." I say and before I hang up I hear him say he loves me. "Ooo I can't wait till I can just tell him." I breath out loud.
"You should have been told him but this tea is really good." She looks out the window sipping on her imaginary tea. I laugh and shake my head as the rest of the ride is silent. Making it to the airport we get out and rush to the front desk and make sure everything is set. Its real chilly out but I think it will be better in Cali. I didn't pack a lot because most of my cloths are in San Fran so what's the point.
Nala can't stop talking about seeing everyone. The plane ride is going to be long because we don't have a layover. After I get the babies settled I grab a pillow and let the window shield down. Closing my eyes I think of all the outcomes of tomorrow morning. The baby will be here soon so if they don't like it then They will just have to deal like I've been doing.

When I go to baggage claim I spot Danny and hurry to put my sunglasses on. Nala follows holding my hand rubbing her eyes. Elisa is holding Ryder because he is still asleep. I grab Nala's hand and We all walk towards where Danny is standing in a wife beater and basketball shorts.
