She looked up at me and scratched the hell out of her arm. I didn't even have a word to say. I shook my head and walked away up the stairs. I headed to the room Ray was staying in and knocked on the door. He opened the door in his boxers only and looked at me. "Your baby mama is downstairs." I tell him before walking back down with him right behind me. I stopped and moved out of his way. He flew down the stairs and stopped at the front of the door. Kelo and Yeddy stood on both sides of him.
How the hell did she get in through my security? I went to desperate measures to make sure stuff like this didn't happen. I guess Cardo's dad never got to killing her. Thats good for Ryder though but it seems like she is strung out and she needs help. I would hate for Ryder to see her like this. Cardo is sitting on the couch with Nala who is up now in his arms. I climb down the stairs and sit next to him. He kisses my forehead and wraps his arm around me.
"Let her in Yeddy." I tell him and he nods and gives her a passage way. Katrina steps in tripping over her feet and Ray catches her.
"What are you doing here?" he asks.
"I want my baby." she states sniffling and pull her shirt down even though she already swims in it.
"You're not getting him and I think you know that so lets try again. What the hell are you doing here?" He asks her again.
"I-I I'm sorry, Ray. I need help. I'll get clean and we can be a family again. Please forgive me." she wipes her nose and twiddles her finger.
"Go ask your boy for help or did he just fuck and dump you!" he yells in her face. I look at Cardo and he grabs Nala and helps me up. When Katrina sees me again she walks towards me.
"Lena, I'm so sorry for everything. I forgive you. For lying to me, for keeping secrets. Please help me. I'd didn't mean anything I said to you. You're a wonderful mother. You're everything I want to be again. I don't know what happened to me." She cried and wrapped her skinny arms around me. I slowly did the same and I started to cry too.
How could I say no? Katrina needed me again. She wasn't herself. It was the drugs. It was just the drugs.
"I have a room here for you and clothes." I told her and kissed her cheek. "Come on and eat something."
Everyone was pissed that I let Katrina in. Especially Ray. He felt betrayed but I couldn't just leave her. All those times I needed her, she came through. When Serenity died she was there for me. When my dad was found, she was there. When my aunts body was found, she was there. Through thick and thin. After Katrina ate hungrily I got her in a bath. When she finished that I took the time to rub cocoa butter on her needle scars. I put her clothes on her body. I stayed in the room with her until she was done crying and finally asleep. It was 2 a.m. as I walks through the halls tired. I checked Nala's room to see her asleep in the beds then I check Elisa's room. Her and Danny were asleep in bed. The guest bedrooms held, Ray and Ryder asleep in one and Danny alone in the other. I came back around to my room and Cardo was sitting up in bed waiting on me.
"Are you mad?" I ask him climbing into bed. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.
"No Lena, I know that's your friend and you always gone forgive everybody no matter what. It's who you are."
I get comfortable and soon I'm asleep. The next day everything changed.
It was midday and I passed my room door and Cardo is coming out of it holding his car keys. I look up at him and my eyes widen. "Please don't leave. I know you're probably upset with me but you don't have to leave." I cry to him. All the guys were getting their stuff also and coming down the stairs. Katrina had just fallen asleep again now after eating and getting another bath.
I grabbed Ray's arm again and he looks at me sadly.
"Don't cry, Lena. I'm not mad anymore. I gotta go so I can make sure you're safe. Katrina walked away from a powerful man. I'll be back." He says and hugs me.
As Cardo walks toward the door again and start crying.
"I have to go, but I'll be back." he looks down. I let go of his hand and hug him to me as I cry into his shirt. He rubs my back and I wipe my eyes and let him go. He pulls me to him and kisses me feverishly. Turning away from him Elisa wraps her arm around my shoulder and we walk away from him. It took everything in me to not look back at him and beg him to stay. We get to her room and I see Ryder is asleep in the bed. Elisa closes her door back and takes me to Nala's room.
Soft whimpers come from Nala as she lays in her bed. I look at Elisa and she just closes the door behind her on her way out. I walk up to Nala and kiss her head. I pull up the rocking chair in her room next to her bed and I rub her back as she cries. After she goes to sleep I sit back in the chair and close my eyes drifting off back to sleep.

Waking up I see I'm in my bed laying by myself. I get up and use the bathroom but I feel an eerie presence in the house. Checking Nala's room I see her laying in her bed sound asleep. I check Elisa's room and its empty. Walking down the steps I stop in my tracks when I see Kelo laying by the front door with blood leaking from the back of his head. Yeddy walks out and when he sees Kelo he stops and looks around. I cover a sob in my hand as I look away.
When he sees me he gestures for me to walk back up the stairs. I nod and grab my phone before running back to Nala's room and closing the door locking it. She looks at me and I put my finger to my lips indicating for her to be quiet. Her lip curls and before I know it she's crying silently. I'm so glad she has a bathroom in her room. I calm my breath and dial Cardo's number as I pick Nala up and carry her in the bathroom. I sit her in the tub as I get his voicemail.
I hang up and call Danny, he picks up immediately. "Hey Le what's up?" he answers.
"Danny someone is in the house. I'm in Nala's room and I need you guys to hurry up and get here before they come in my room." I break down. "I'm going to give Nala my phone and she is in her bathroom in the tub. Please just hurry and be with her. I have a feeling that they will bust in here and I want her to be safe."
"We on the way Lena! Just wait don't surrender to whoever they are." Danny yells through the phone.
"If I have to do it for Nala then I will. I love you guys just take care of my baby okay?" I hang up the phone before he can respond. Tears fall from my eyes as I kneel down and kiss Nala's forehead. "You be good for your daddy. And keep me in your heart." I tell Her. I hand her my phone as it keeps ringing. "I love you." I tell her as I get up and wipe my eyes.
"I love you too mommy." She tells me. Closing the shower curtain I turn off the lights and walk into the bedroom closing the door behind me. I walk out of her room and into the hallway looking around.
"Don't move!" I hear my 'dad's' voice and I cringe while putting my hands up. I turn around slowly to see his face and he is covered in blood, not his own either. "Come on." he directs for me and he pulls out some ropes. I worry about Katrina. She is just getting her life together.
Tying me up he blindfolds me and slaps the fuck out of me before pulling me down the stairs. Luckily on my feet. I feel the blood pouring from in my mouth where me hit me. The fresh air hits my face when we get outside. I am wearing some short shorts, and one of Cardo's t-shirts. I feel myself being pulled into the car. I cry and pray to God that Nala will be safe. I also hope that my baby will be safe if we make it through this.
