"I'm so sorry Lena Bena." My mom cried. Her tears dropped on my cheek as she cried over me. I looked in her eyes and turned away from her. She rubbed my back and her scent began to surround me again. The last time this happen I almost went crazy.
"His initials are H.E.D. I love you my sweet sweet girl." Then she faded in to the air. I heard someone calling my name and I turned and looked at Cardo. I didn't even realize I was crying. He wiped my eyes and kissed my cheek. I pulled him to me and held on tight.
"I'm right here for you." He spoke to me.
"Promise?" I asked.
"Promise." He confirmed.
Today was the day we are going back to Connecticut. I didn't want to leave Cardo so soon after everything but if I don't leave now I never would. I still can't believe everything that has happened and all the information that has been discovered. I can tell Nala doesn't want to leave, she hasn't said a word to anyone all day. I packed the remainder of our clothes and shoes and anything else that had any meaning to me. My 2 new body gaurds were trained military guards. That really means they are trained killers and they have quick reflexes and really they are just my personal ones. Cardo already has a whole team that is over my house. I didn't move in a neighborhood because I really just wanted my life to be private.
Cardo is flying me back in a private jet. I hate that he isn't coming with me but he said he would be there when I turn 8 months. Something gives me a strong feeling that a war is about to start and I would stay but Cardo is making us leave. Miss Selina is coming too later on. My house is humongous with 7 bedrooms and even a trail in the back yard. Plus it has a fence and a big gate that you have to be let in from the house. It is so beautiful and they are supposed to get me a florist to plant flowers in all of the flower beds.
I'm just really excited about this whole process of starting fresh. I hope Cardo will be too but I know it will be awhile. I grabbed my purse and hand Cardo his car keys, I couldn't even look at him. Danny walked in holding Nala in his arms while she sniffled. I looked away and crossed my arms while my own tears threatened to fall. "Awe come here my babies." he pulled me to him and grabbed Nala from Danny.
"Imma be in the car." Danny tells me. I nod and Elisa comes out and hugs Cardo before walking out and giving me a sad look. She is going to do her chemo in Connecticut obviously. At her appointment we got everything set up and she should be ready soon.
"Can you at least look at me, Lena?" He asks me trying to touch me but I step back. He smacks his lips before talking to Nala. "You gone be good for me Nay?" he asks her.
"Uh huh. I be really good daddy. Will I see you again?" she asks him wiping her eyes.
"Girl you gone see me everyday because we gone FaceTime and everything." He kisses all over her face while ticking her. Her laugh filled the room and it made me smile extra hard. "I love you Nay, no matter what."
"I love you too daddy!" she exclaims. He sits her down and she runs in the kitchen to where Carlos and Ray are. He turns to me and grabs my hand pulling up the stairs. I step back and give him a look.
"I don't feel like going up them damn stairs we can talk in Elisa's room." I walk towards that way and he grabs my waist while walking and kisses my neck. I twitch and my cheeks get hot fast. As soon as we walk in the room he closes the door and pushes me towards the bed. I fall on it softly and he spreads my legs kneeling in betweens them. I laugh and he looks at me with a smirk. "Uh uh Mister." he smacks his lips and gets off his knees and sits by me kissing my cheek.
"You gone miss me, ain't you?" he grabs my hand.
"You know I am. Promise you will stay safe for me." I look him in the eyes.
"With everything in me I will try Lena. You better stay safe too, and hold that tight for me since you ain't trying to give a Niggah none before you leave." he mugs me while rolling his eyes playfully.
I laugh and push his shoulder. When he kisses my lips again I stroke him through his basketball shorts and he breaks away from me. "Oooo girl you better know what you doing." he closes his eyes.
I start cracking up and kiss his cheek while standing up but he pulls me in his lap. He kisses my tattoos on my shoulder. I grab his hand and kiss his tattoos on his hands. He has 50 more and I just don't have time to kiss all of them. We fondle for a little bit more before I get up and pull him with me. He holds my hand as we walk into the living room. "Nala!" I call and she runs in with Ray's phone while giggling.
"Man give me my phone Baddie!" Ray comes in after her smiling. Carlos walks in holding Ryder dying laughing. I start laughing too as Naomi walks up to me and hold her arms up. Everyone starts laughing and dares me silently to pick her up. It kills me that I can't but honestly I don't want to hear it.
"Run to daddy, I can't pick you up until your baby brother comes out." I explain to her. She kisses my stomach and runs quickly to Cardo. He scooped her up and she laughed as Ray smacked his lips. She hid his phone in between her and Cardo while she acted like she didn't have it and shrugged when Ray came over there. Ray started to fake cry and she laughed while handing him his phone. Ray kisses her cheek and she smiled at him.
Those green eyes of hers are definently a killer. I can only imagine when she gets how many boys Cardo is going to kill. They put her down and she grabs my hand while I hug everyone goodbye and Ryder grabs my other hands. We walk out and Cardo grabs me and kisses my lips again. I let go of the children and wrap my arms around his neck. "You better come back to me in one piece without so much as a scar boy." I tell him after pulling away.
"I won't even break a sweat." he brags.
"Please..you break a sweat from just being inside my-"
"Shhhhh!" he exclaims while smirking and I laugh before adjusting my purse on my shoulder and grabbing the babies arms again. When I open the door I see 2 large muscular men waiting. Cardo follows me and daps them up. "Baby this is Kelo and Yeddy." he introduces. I smile and they nod respectively. After I peck his lips one more time and he hugs Nala and Ryder again we make our way down stairs. Kelo and Yeddy follow closely.
I catch Elisa and Danny standing on opposite sides of the Huge escalade that fits 8. He looks a little hurt and sad and her eyes are red. I don't say anything as she helps me strap Ryder and Nala in there car seats in the very back. We look at each other briefly and she looks away quickly and sniffles one time before breathing in and smiling. I smile back at her and Yeddy gets in the drivers seat and Kelo
Gets in the passengers.
I let Elisa get in first because I know Danny will want to be by a window. He gets in on the other side and she looks back at me as I get in and close the door. Ha! Now she is trapped. She looks at me shocked and I try not to laugh at the look in her face. We put our seat belts on and pull out if the parking lot. "You guys need to talk." I text Danny. I watch him as he pulls out his phone and checks it. He rolls his eyes and puts his phone back up. Reaching behind Elisa I smack him in the back of the head.
"Man!" he whines.
"Next time reply with your rude ass!" I huff.
He smacks his lips in response.
"Smack 'em again boy." I lean up so I can see him. He doesn't do anything but stare at Elisa. I smile and Elisa makes a noise that sounds like she wants to laugh. He looks at her and she looks at him. She bust out laughing and grabs his hand. I lean back as they interact and lay my head on the window.
