She wasn't certain what Hobie was going to show her. In fact, she was quite nervous. Very nervous.

And in his perspective, he was more nervous than her. He could absolutely collapse from all the nervousness that he was feeling. And he usually was never like this, but for her, anything was possible.

And If you think that's dramatic, well it is, but, he's not kidding.

"Don't open your eyes." He spoke softly as he covered her eyes with his hands and guided her to the living room.

"How can I when your covering them?" She chuckled as she took small steps.

He shook his head as he smiled, stopping his pace as they were in the middle of the living room.

"Open them, but slowly." He removed his hands as he placed them behind his back, nervously looking at her reaction.

Eliza opened her eyes, expecting nothing much from the boy. But it was the total opposite.

The living room was nicely decorated with lights all around it. A small short table was in the middle of the room with a couple of candles on it next to the flowers that were placed at the middle. There were two plates on each side, and of course the utensils.

Everything was put together, as the only light that shined was the string lights around the room and the lights that came from the building outside of their apartment. The beautiful view of the buildings aligned could be seen from where they were.

She didn't say anything, in fact she was quite taken back from this surprise. But with no response from her, he became frantic.

-+ Eliza's POV

"I tried my best, I was struggling because I had baby spider girl..crawling over on the ceiling and I accidentally purchased too many lights.." He stumbled over his words as he tried to give me an explanation.

I couldn't help but smile, he did it all himself.

I fully turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck, trying to give him a hug but with the height difference it wasn't really working out. I was standing on my tippy toes.

As if he held his breath in, he let out a sigh, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I was quite afraid you weren't going to like it y'know."

"I love it." You.

"E, Are you standing on your tippy toes?" He laughed as he lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around and actually gave him a strong hug. Well, something like that.

"You're..choking me." He struggled as he wrapped one arm around my waist and had his hand on the back of my head.

"Shit, my bad." I loosened my arms as he slowly placed me back down onto the floor.

"I ordered takeout, I was quite afraid I would mess up my cooking skills this time, but let me bring the food out of the fridge." He smiled as he grabbed the plates from the table and headed towards the kitchen. I made my way towards the table and sat down onto the floor.
