"yeah and just for the record, I quit."

"what—-oh! me too sorry...not really."

And with those words exchanged to, well, practically only themselves since everyone else was on a goose chase, they left.

For the better.

"What's exactly your plan here?" She had asked him as she saw a bunch of gibberish laid out on the floor. Hobie was sitting down inspecting everything he had as Eliza wasn't really much of a help. She was laying down looking at the ceiling as she ate animal crackers.

"My plan is to provoke the other team, probably infuriate the target even more..the moral of the plan is to save and help Miles before it's too late."

"Oh boy do you sound like a superhero right now." She grinned as he could only sigh, in agreement. I mean technically they were superheroes.

Miguel could be nice, he is nice, he's just buried right now. Everyone understood his situation but sometimes he takes his anger out on everyone else. And to scare Miles off like that wasn't the right thing, and most people understood the part where Miles was right and Miguel was wrong.

"I don't think it'll take me long to finish the last two, you can go sleep y'know." He reassured her as he lifted the band up in the air to examine it.

"I can wait."

And in fact she couldn't. Well at least she tried too. She ended up falling asleep on the floor, he never knew why she preferred the floor rather than a couch, but everyone to their own thing.

He didn't realize she was fast asleep until 30 minutes later when she stopped talking.

Actually, he only realized that she fell asleep was because he noticed that he kept constantly talking to himself with no response.

"Are you actually asleep?" He muttered with a hint of the accent that came through. He put down the completed band onto the side and looked to see that her eyes were closed, no movement but breathing.

As if he already planned for this situation to happen, he stepped away from her as he headed towards the bedroom. Reaching for the light colored blanket at the top of the mattress, he turned around and then headed out of the room.

It wasn't that cold, but for some reason when you sleep, you get cold. Maybe that just happened with him, at least that's what he was thinking. Maybe this was a spider thing, the world may never know.

She didn't budge when he placed the warm light blanket on top of her, which wasn't a surprising thing to him because he knows that once she's asleep, she's really asleep.

And so he didn't go back to meddling with his bands, he ended up just cleaning everything up for the night. It wouldn't be right for him to go and get everybody back together. He was going to wait until later to do something, since he was one of the few who wanted to try.

But he was also confused with his current situation with Eliza. In fact, he wasn't very much used to this. It's not that he's scared, because he's definitely not, it's just that he didn't want to hurt her. In any way.

But he couldn't resist her, she was just too kind and someone perfect that he has always seen.

Even since the start, she was always the kindest person, and would light up the room once she walked in. He could write a large paragraph on his favorite things about her but he would never ever admit that publicly.

Was he worried? Yes he was, anything could happen to the both of them.

And was he going to risk it all just for her, yes.

The buildings across from them were brighter than ever. It seemed that everyone was awake at the same time when in reality everyone should be sleeping. He only wondered if someone was thinking the same way he was.

"Are you finished?" She had startled him as she asked him the simple question.

"Weren't you just fast asleep huh?"

"I was, until I saw you staring out the window as I was going to turn..around." She paused and yawned as she turned around, covering herself with the blanket.

"Don't make me ask you to come lay down."

"I'll take the invitation." He softly spoke as he made his way off the couch. Hobie then went onto the floor and laid down next to her. He was a bit far away from her, as if he was scared of her.

He wasn't, he just respected boundaries, but yes okay maybe he was a little unsure if he should get closer or not.

But as he thought of, well many thoughts, she turned around to face his back, since he was facing away from her entirely. She then wrapped her arm around him, and covered him with the blanket.

She buried her face against his back and got comfortable.

He unexpectedly felt her touch as she covered him and wrapped her arm around him. He wasn't uncomfortable or upset in this situation, in fact he felt secure around her.

They both were comfortable with each other and that's all they needed.
