"Somebody help!" The little girl yelled as she sat on the bridge with her knees tucked in, many people running past her unwilling to help. The poor girl was scared as she watched people run away, and her parents not in sight.
The only person who actually stopped was Inspector Singh, in which he ran back to the girl to get her out of there as the rubble came falling down.
"I can help them!" Eliza shouted as she got ready to jump down, only then she was stopped by a sudden arm around her waist, pulling her back.
She looked at Hobie, trying to get away from whatever he was trying to do. He could only look at her, and there she knew, it was canon.
"I got him, I got him!" Miles yelled as he tried to go down there. He was suddenly stopped by Gwen, who tried to pull him back. "Miles!"
"Don't worry, thread the needle, ring the bell right?" He looked back at her, "It's too dangerous."
"I'll be okay, I promise." And with that he jumped down and swung towards them both. "Miles, no!" She yelled as Miles ran towards the man holding the little girl. Everything came crashing down behind him as he sprinted.
They all swung to the other side of the bridge as smoke came up and surrounded everything around them. Gwen quickly jumped down as she sprinted towards the debris, trying to locate Miles.
They followed after as Hobie spotted Pav, as he tried and struggled to pull the bus.
"Please no Miles, come on!" Gwen yelled desperately as she pushed everything aside. Eliza helped her lift a piece of metal as they both discovered Miles wrapping himself around the girl to protect her.
"You're alright!" She told him as the girl looked up at the boy protecting her. She held on tightly to his right arm, not letting go. "I promised."
From the side, Inspector Singh revealed himself from under the debris. A look of delight waved over him as he saw the girl safe. From afar, Pav ran over to hug Gayatri as she stepped off the bus safely.
"Oh," He said as he embraced her with a tight hug, Gayatri taken back from this. "You're okay, I was so worried about—I mean you seem like a nice young woman that I do not know!" He explained as he quickly patted her shoulders and stepped back from her.
She chuckled at his response as she looked behind him. "Papa!" She ran towards him and gave him a hug. "Not bad right?" Miles made a comment as they both looked at him, then glancing at eachother once they saw their band saying "CANNON EVENT DISRUPTED".
"Right.." She muttered as she looked up at him, not knowing what to say.
"I have never seen him so emotional." Gayatri stated as she looked at both Pav and her father. They were shaking hands as Pav was taken back from surprise, not moving. "Excellent job."
