--Ella's Pov--
"Why did we drink so much?" Kelsey whispers holding onto her head as she walks into the living room. Her hair sticking up in every direction reminds me of Albert Einstein. She takes my coffee from the counter and sips on it, "Also tell me everything 'cause I kind of blacked out," she says leaning on the counter.

I pour myself another cup of coffee before telling her everything that happened. Her eyes widened once she heard about her date with Arthur, "No fucking way," she whispers looking at her phone for the first time today, "HE TEXTED ME," she screams making me laugh. She shows me the text and it's him saying he will pick her up at 7.

"You guys are adorable. Truly my favorite non-couple couple," I tell her as she looks stressed, "You'll have a great time. You two were practically glued to the hip last night," I point out.

"He's just so easy to talk to," she says with a huge grin on her face, "What if I fuck it up?" She asks.

I roll my eyes and start walking to her room. She follows behind me and sits on her bed as she watches me look through her closet, "You won't mess this up. Don't think like that," I tell her. She puts the coffee cup on her nightstand as I start chucking clothes at her. It takes almost two hours before we land on the perfect outfit. Apparently, the movie is really a dinner and a movie. The rest of the day is spent with me sitting in my bed as I hear her showering and getting ready. The clock hits six pm and that's when the doorbell goes off. Kelsey runs into my room with her hair half curled freaking out. I tell her to calm down and that I'll get the door. She runs back to her room and I can't help but laugh as I walk to the door.

"Hello....oh it's you," I say as Chip stands outside the door with his camera.

"Wow, don't get too excited," he says as I invite him inside.

"Sorry...I just was expecting someone else," I tell him as he stands by the door. I yell to Kelsey that it's not him and she just thanks god very loudly.

"What are you two up to tonight?" He asks putting his backpack on the floor. His camera stays in his hand making me narrow my eyes at him.

"She's going on a date with Arthur. And I have a hot date with my bed and a bucket of popcorn," I tell him going into the kitchen. He rushes in front of the fridge and stops me from grabbing a drink, "What do you want Josh?" I ask making him smile. He moves to the side and I quickly grab some juice before closing it.

"I need someone to film a video with," he says as I stare at him with a blank expression.

"You never want to film with me and now you want two in two days?" I ask.

"I know but everyone else is busy," he says making me scoff. He closes his eyes and cringes at himself as he chases after me. I almost get my door closed but his foot catches it, letting him slip in, "I didn't mean it like that. I was just bored and wanted an excuse to come over," he says making me roll my eyes.

"What if instead of filming," I say taking the camera from his hand, "We lay down and watch a movie," I tell him pushing him back onto my bed. He looks at me confused before I crawl onto his lap connecting my lips to his. His hands hold onto my waist as he leans into the kiss. He flips me onto my back pulling away out of breath.

"What are we doing?" He whispers peppering kisses down my jaw. I wrap my fingers in his hair pulling him back up, "Do I look okay?" He asks making me pull away confused, "Ella, I have like ten minutes. Help me," he says making me jump as my body starts shaking. I fling my eyes open and see Kelsey standing in front of me waiting for something.

"What's happening?" I ask looking around. The sun had gone down making my bedroom dark besides the small light by the door Kelsey turned on. She turns around and motions toward her outfit.

"You look great. I thought you were curling your hair?" I ask confused.

"No? What? He's going to be here any minute," she says fixing her lip gloss in the mirror. I rub my eyes and look at the clock seeing I must have fallen asleep a couple of hours ago, "Are you alright back there?" She asks with a concerned smile.

I nod my head letting out a small yawn, "text me if you need anything," I tell her as the doorbell rings. She gives me a nervous look before walking out. I can hear the door opening and some small talk before there's a small knock at my door. I lift my head seeing Chip with a take-out bag and sodas.

"Figured you'd be chilling tonight and wanted to crash," he says walking over with a bright smile. When Chip moves out of the way, Kelsey steals his spot leaning on the doorframe.

"Looks like we are both having little date nights," she says making me widen my eyes. Chip starts laughing as he opens the bag while I clear my throat trying to change the subject. The doorbell rings again and she says a goodbye knowing it has to be him this time.

"You alright?" He asks as I take a sip of the soda, "You seem off," he says as I take a fry from his pack.

"I'm fine," I tell him grabbing the remote to turn on a movie, "I just woke up," I tell him trying to ignore the dream that's still fresh in my brain. It felt so real....do I wish it was real? I glance at Chip and see him scrolling on Netflix with a smile on his lips, "How's Cassidy?" I ask knowing I've been staring for too long.

"I think I can see myself really liking her. She's exactly what I've been looking for," he says making me smile that smile you keep for moments like this.

"I'm really happy for you Chippy," I tell him as he shoves my shoulder.

"I hate when you call me that," he says clicking on an action comedy, "But thank you," he adds leaning back to watch the film as a chicken nugget hands from his hand.
