--Ella's Pov--
I pull the bottom of my dress down and hop of the sink as Chris leans against the wall, "What just happened?" I ask with a laugh as I turn around to fix my hair.

"I have no idea but let's hope Freezy isn't filming anything tonight," he says coming up behind me in the mirror. I wet a paper towel and bring it to his lips to wipe the lipstick off then.

"That was...." He says trailing off at the end.

"Weird"

"Yeah"

"But good?" I ask curious.

"Definitely, but"

"Never again," I tell him as we both agree. He wipes some mascara that smeared under my eyes making me wish I was in love with him. I slip my fallen shoes back on before the two of us walk back out. When we walk back to the table Chip and Cassidy are sitting down talking with the group. My feet fail to walk forward as I turn around running to the bar. Oh my god, I'm going to be sick.

"Ella, Chip is here," Kelsey says running over frantically. I feel like wherever a night turns out peaceful it immediately turns to shit. Tonight was all about carefree fun.

I shake my head looking at the table from the floor below it, "what is he doing here?" I ask as she looks at my neck.

"Is that a hickey?" She asks.

"I'm gonna get some air," I tell her covering my neck. Chris walks over with a worried look. I look up and see Chip standing looking down at the dance floor. His eyes lock with mine before he turns to Cassidy, "Guys it's fine. We are all adults. But I'm going to go for a walk or something," I tell them. Chris tries to stop me saying it's not safe but I tell him I'll be fine. I rush outside feeling like the walls are closing in on me. I lean against the outer wall of the club, the cold brick making my skin scream.

I run my hands through my hair as my legs feel heavy underneath me, "Why did you kiss me?" a voice asks making me turn my head.

"Chip....I just," I whisper as he walks over. His hand pushes me into the wall as his head bends down.

"Just shut up," he whispers slamming his lips against mine. His hand caresses the curve of my body making me arch my back to press against him, "You made everything confusing," he mumbles against my lips. I push him off me and walk out of his grasp as he stares me down.

"We can't do this," I whisper putting my hands on the back of my head as I pace back and forth, "Not when you're with Cassidy. It's not fair to her....or me," I tell him as he stays in his spot. I keep my gaze locked on the dark sky looming above us.

"I don't want him touching you," he says making my eyes shoot in his direction.

"You left me on that rooftop alone. You ran, not me," I yell at him as he runs a hand through his hair.

"I didn't know what to do. What was I supposed to do?" He asks.

"I don't know. Hold me, tell me everything's going to be okay. Not just run off saying you have to go," I shout feeling desperate for some kind of answer.

"I don't want our friendship to fall apart," he says as I let out a tired laugh.

"It already has," I tell him walking towards the door. I hear him say my name but the door is already closing. I rush to the table and grab my purse trying to ignore everyone glances.

"Are you okay?" Arthur asks as I start walking back to the door.

"Yes, can you just make sure Kelsey gets home okay?" I ask as he nods his head. He pulls me in for a hug and it's a lot more comforting than I thought.

"Get some rest," he says with a sideways smile. I stand on the street with my hand up to call a cab. For a busy club the streets are dead making it hard to find anything. I shouldn't have done anything. I shouldn't have ruined our friendship but he shouldn't have stomped all over my heart. I've always hated people who said that the heart wants what it wants. I always thought you could choose who caught your eye but you can't. Your emotions pick you up and throw you agains the wall. It's not fair. None of this is fair.
