(Bachisagi) Sunflower's Melody

Chapter 4

"Holy shit. It's HUGE!" Bachira exclaimed as we arrived at the house in the given address. To be honest I didn't expect less from Reo. We all know he's rich as heck after all. Bachira seemed to be the only one surprised. We went inside and saw so many familiar people. They were mostly from the soccer team and the others were people from school, some popular and some faces I've never even seen before. Nagi saw us and led us to where everyone wee knew were. "The snacks and drinks are over there, just help yourself to whatever." He said pointing in directions before slumping down on a big beanbag and pulling out his Nintendo switch. I told Bachira I'll get something to drink for us and I left his side with that. I took two cups of whatever was available and I turned back to the direction I came from. I was going to head back but this girl was standing in front of my way. She had curly blonde hair that hung all the way down to her waist. She had a good hourglass figure and she had pretty doll eyes. She wore a black crop top and black tights. She walked closer and I stepped back. "Hey cutie~ is this for me?" She held my hand with Bachira's cup in it and bent her head down to take a sip. I pulled my hand away as fast as I could and tried not to spill the drink. "It's not for you." I spat the words with the coldest, most bitter tone I could use. "You with your girlfriend here?" She asked not showing any intention of backing off. 

I didn't get time to answer when I felt someone hug me from behind and loop their arm around mine. "B-bachira!?" "Hey honey~" H-honey!?! he held me closer, held my hand and took a sip from the drink I had before taking it in his own hand. He smiled at me and turned to the girl in front of us before eyeing her from head to toe and asking "Who's this?" In a disgusted tone I usually heard from girls. I then looked at Bachira and realized he even had eyeliner on. The sight threw me off. "I don't know her, darling" I said matching his pace. He then glared at the girl and took a step closer to her. "Listen here sweetie, if I see you bothering my man again.. I'll make you regret you even laid your filthy eyes on him" He chuckled and watched as the girl groaned and rolled her eyes before turning back and storming off. He quickly looked back at me and asked "Are you okay?" I sighed and smiled at him "I'm fine now.. Thanks, darling~" I said with a wink trying to tease him. He turned around and said "Cut it out! I- I thought you looked uncomfortable and.. and I remember you said you weren't into girls cause you're gay so.." "Hey.. hey.. it's okay. I appreciate it. Thanks a lot, Meguru. You saved my ass back there." He smiled a soft faint smile and we went back to the others.

They were now playing truth or dare and everyone was sitting on the floor except for Nagi who was lying on his stomach. Everybody was there. Even the Itoshi brothers and Michael joined in. They started playing and Chigiri asked Reo. The purple haired dude chose truth and Chigiri asked him if he's dating anyone. Reo said yes and continued on, asking Baro. He chose dare and Reo dared him to drink half a glass of alcohol. Only then did I realize that I actually got the same beverage for me and Bachira. I turned to him but he didn't seem to mind so I simply let it go. Baro then asked Kunigami after doing the dare. Kunigami chose dare of course.

"Drink the whole bottle." Kunigami didn't even think twice after that sentence. He drunk the bottle of alcohol and smiled at him. I looked at him with worry on my face and Chigiri seemed to notice. "It'll be fine.. he has high alcohol tolerance." I believed what he said and sighed with relief thinking we won't have to worry about bringing home a drunk friend after this. Kunigami then asked Michael and he chose dare. "Kiss the person who you're interested in the most in this room" He looked around and my guts twisted when his eyes landed on me. He stood up and I had goosebumps immediately. "Nah.. I ain't doing this shit." I said as he got closer. He stopped and it was followed by boo's and whines and people saying 'aw come onnn' or 'don't ruin the fun Isagi' I had no choice so I just said fine. Each step he took towards me made my heart race faster, and not in the way Bachira did to me. Shit. Shit shit shit shit! I wanted to believe this was a bad dream and I told myself countless times to wake the fuck up. It felt like forever as he made his way across the room. But unfortunately it wasn't forever, he reached me at some point, he knelt down and looked at me. I was breathing heavily and I tried my best not to show it. I glanced at Bachira and he was already looking at me. Michael leaned in and tried to kiss me on my lips, but I turned my head the last moment and his kiss landed on my cheek. Thank God! Michael went back to his seat and he rolled his eyes as I wiped my cheek. "You're such a drama queen, Isagi. It's just a kiss. You never made out with anyone before?" The fuck is with this guy?! "Of course not! I'm not a fucking whore dude" Neither of us wanted to start anything so we ended it with that.
Michael went on with the game. "Yo bob cut, truth or dare?" Bachira paused and chose truth. "Between me.. Rin and.." he looked around the room once again. Why the fuck do his fucking eyes always land on me?! "Isagi.. who would you kiss marry and kick in the balls?" Meguru didn't even take a minute to answer his question "Well, I'd surely kick your balls. So.. I guess I'll kiss Rin and marry Yoichi!" He said the last words with a smile and I couldn't lie. It made my heart flutter. He's so cute. I turned my gaze to Michael and he looked pissed. I wanted to laugh in his face but I just laughed to myself instead. Bachira looked around and asked Nagi. "Nagiii, truth or dare?" Nagi chose truth and Bachira asked him if he was dating someone, and if he was, who was it. Nagi then answered the question without looking away from his gadget for a split second. "Ehh.. I'm dating Reo." Reo looked shocked and shook Nagi. "Nagiiii, didn't I say we'd keep it a secret?!" I wasn't really surprised and almost everyone else weren't surprised either.

The game ended after a couple more dares and I checked my phone to see it was already past 10. It was still Saturday so I figured it'll be alright since we still don't have school tomorrow. Reo went up to the Dj and later on he busted some tunes and everybody danced like there was no tomorrow. I was by the table with snacks and I was watching everyone dance from a distance when suddenly someone took me by my arm. "Why aren't you dancing, Yoichi? C'mere dance with me!" He pulled me into the crowd and straight to the middle of the dance floor. I took a good look at him. That sweet smile on his perfect face.. that beautiful laugh like music to my ears.. and his face was.. flushed? It was really pink.. "Bachira are you okay?" I held him steady by his shoulders and he lifted his head at me and made a face "Of course I'm fine! What're ya talking about?" "Bachira I think you're drunk." He stood up straight and looked at me in the eye. "I'm fine, okay? I'm not drunk" He smiled at me softly and that eased my worries "Now, come on! Dance with me. The earth is spinning, we can't just stand on it" I smiled and took his offer and we danced the rest of the night.

The party ended past 2 am and we stayed behind for a while to help Reo clean the place up. From the other room I heard a distant singing voice. It wasn't angelic or anything, but it still sounded alright. "And I am the idiot with the painted face.. in the corner taking up space." I took a peek and was shocked when I saw Bachira singing and a couple of other people in the next room. He was slowly dancing with a glass in his hand. I walked towards him like a moth being drawn into the light, like a piece of metal being pulled by a magnet, he was simply alluring. At that moment, I wanted nothing but to hear him as clear as day and if possible, have him sing to me until I fall into a deep slumber in his arms. This was the first time I've heard him sing. And it was fucking amazing. Meguru, what have you done? You've made me fall for you more even though I didn't think it was possible. He turned around and now he was singing in front of us. He smiled that warm smile that always gets me again. "But when he walks in.. I am loved. I am loved~ me and my husband we are doing better. It's always been just him and me together." He continued to sing and I stood there in silence, mesmerized by this brunette Meguru Bachira. When he finished his song, people clapped and whistled for him. I simply smiled when I realized he was looking at me the entire time. "Did you like my song, Yoichi?~" He said as he approached me. "Yeah.. but not as much as I like you" I made sure Bachira didn't hear the last sentence so I said it quietly. He laughed and almost tripped and I noticed the drink he held in his hand was alcohol again. "Okay, who the fuck let the brunette drink?!" Michael and Rin exchanged looks and I noticed Michael had something behind his back. Michael fucking Kaiser! I followed Meguru and made sure he didn't drink more because he was clearly wasted. After we cleaned the house up, we said goodbye and Kunigami drove us back to Bachira's.
