Bachira was happy. It didn't sound like a big deal but for most of his life, he'd been focused on soccer and finding the 'monster' that was capable of making his heart happy. It was difficult for him and he really struggled a lot. He was often called weird and sometimes delusional, but that changed one faithful day. He'd first met Isagi Yoichi in middle school. They were having tryouts for the soccer team and they played a practice match against each other. They were divided into two teams, the game went nice at first but Bachira's teammates kept saying he was hogging the ball too much and he should take notice of other players on his team. Bachira ignored them and kept scoring goals all by himself. The game ended with the other team winning because they cornered Bachira and stole the ball. When the match was over, four of his teammates followed him to the locker rooms. They thought Bachira should 'pay' for what he'd done because they thought they wouldn't make the team since all the attention was on Bachira. Three of the boys pinned his limbs down and the other one pounced on him and started beating him up. This went on for a while when suddenly a raven haired boy burst through the door and pulled the boy off of Bachira. He threw him a powerful punch and the others got off of him to help the other boy. They all ran out when the raven haired boy shot them a look and said something. Bachira couldn't hear him clearly as he was on the verge of passing out. The raven haired boy helped him up and put his arm around his shoulder and walked him to the nurses office. Bachira had passed out when he got there and by the time he woke up, his mysterious hero was already gone. He later found out that the boy was Isagi Yoichi and they both made the soccer team. They played soccer side by side and became the best of friends ever since. They went to the same high school together and little by little, the two boys fell in love. Neither of them possessing the courage to ask the other one out. It took a while but they eventually built up the courage to do so with the help of some friends. Bachira had confessed first and found out that Isagi had planned to confess at the same time. They ended up dating and even planning to move in together once they go to college. Their first date had gone great. Bachira remembered the big blue teddy bear he gave the little kid before and he treasured the dolphin plushie Isagi got for him in the claw machine.

That was seven months ago and every day with Isagi since then had been just as perfect. Bachira was living the dream he never knew he always had. And he loved every second they got to spend time together, every smiles and glances, every kiss wether silly or passionate, every hug wether short or long, and every time they got to spend the day together. These made the best moments of their lives. They've already graduated and found the apartment they'll move into sooner or later. Today, they decided to go to Isagi's house to meet and talk to his parents and finally tell them about the two of them dating.

"Bachira and I are dating."

The sound of shattering glass was heard after that statement. His mom had dropped the glass of the she was holding in her hand. "Yoichi.." Her hands slowly made their way to her mouth and tears started to form and glaze her blue eyes. This was the exact reaction Isagi had predicted. And if he was right about his mother, he would probably be right about his father too. Bachira felt the uneasiness Isagi had and took his hand to hold it; trying to assure him that he was there and they'll be alright. His father lowered the newspaper he was reading to shift his gaze to his own son. He had a muscular build, he had these eyes that would easily pierce through anyone's soul. "You're a shame to this family.. I did not.. raise my only son to end up gay." He stood up and went to his wife who cried and buried her head into her husbands chest. "If you aren't changing your mind and breaking up with.. him. Pack your bags." Bachira couldn't believe what he was hearing. He held Isagi's hand tighter. "Yoichi.." The raven haired boy stood up and turned back to give Bachira a smile. "It's okay, darling." He stood up and Isagi started heading upstairs. He passed his parents and said straight to his fathers face, "Gladly." His father went from pissed to furious as he saw the two of them going up the stairs without even letting go of each other's hand.
