The trip to Athens was quiet. Asides from updates Andy barely said a word. His normal brooding sexy persona was gone. He didn't eat anything, he didn't react to anything, he was closed off completely. I forced him to keep sipping for a water bottle because he looked pale. I would occasionally see him wiping at his eyes that were puffy and bloodshot.

Parker was also quiet and reserved which was very unlike him. They both looked like they had seen war and in our little home that's probably what it felt like. Parker told me he was glad I didn't see the bloody mess the house became. He didn't think Andy would keep the place. He figured he would tear it down and have something else rebuilt. There was no way we could go to that house and feel comfortable.

When we arrived in Athens there was an armed escort wait for us. Andy made sure we were completely surrounded at all times when moving from place to place. I know he was beating himself up for not having better security but none of us really thought we would be attacked on vacation much less on Christmas.

It was Christmas wasn't it. I signed. The holiday would be forever ruined for us. When we arrived at the hospital we were ushered to a private floor that had 2 armed guards. I found out that Andy paid to have the entire floor to ourselves. Even Weldon was guarded by police and a private guard Andy hired, I could tell he still was unsettled.

Dante was sleeping when we arrived at his room. Andy immediately went to his side I closed the door behind us. The room was big with two sleeping sofas. That was good. None of us was going to leave here until Dante could leave with us.

I went over to Andy and placed a hand on his shoulder. I was afraid he would brush me off but to my surprise he pulled me into his arms and settled back on the oversized recliner. I could feel his heart pounding in his chest and his breathing was ragged. I wish there was something else I could do that would to comfort him but I knew only all of us going home would do that.

I closed my eyes and snuggled into his embrace not even realizing when I fell asleep.

I woke up to the feel of Andy's deeps voice rumbling through my body. He had been so quiet before that I was curious to know who had him so talkative. I peaked up to find Dante's warm gaze on me. He was drinking a cold glass of water. I smiled wiping my eyes of sleep. I unwrapped myself from Andy to stand, he helped me so that I didn't fall, my legs still felt weak.

"Dante." I breathed out walking up to the bed. He reached up and wrapped a hand around my neck.

"Baby girl." He reached up, his cold wet hand coming to the back of my neck. I squealed and he laughed. Pulling my close. Our lips collided and I forgot about his silly ass. He sighed against my lips. "I'm so glad you are okay." He murmured as we parted.

"Dante I was worried about you. You had it worse than all of us." I told him reaching up to touch his face.

"It hurt like a son of a bitch but I'm fine. That bet that we had though, I may have to postpone it. I won't be taking care of anyone for awhile." He said softly. I smiled down at him tears coming to my eyes.

"My love, forget about the bet. I'm going to take care of you. Get you all better and back on your feet." I told him.

"Hand and foot?" He asked, a boyish grin filling his face.

"Hand and foot?" I told him

We spent the next two weeks at the hospital. We brought in the new year with the rest of the family right besides Dante who was getting restless. Turns out he hates being fussed over. Especially by me. He always tells me I'm the one who he should be taking care of. He was ready for discharge after a week but Andy wasn't satisfied that he was okay to fly home so we had to wait from him to find a private plane and a nurse who was willing to tend to him if needed on the flight.
