Nishida's POV

The rest of the two weeks in Hawaii were fun and relaxing. I spent it with my friends, and my brother, my brother, and we explored the island, surfed, ate, and partook in all the fun Hawaiian activities. It quickly became the best fortnight of my life, but after fun and games... comes work.

Which is why, when the two weeks quickly came to an end, Lucas, Shizuki, Bel, Jade and I boarded a plane back to Tokyo. The other people took other planes, depending on where they were going, and certain others, like Eloïse, travelled a few days before, depending on their schedules.

"You're not moving out anymore, are you?" Shizuki asked when we stepped out of his car upon arriving at TMC HQ.

"Why would I move out of my brother's house?" I replied, matter-of-factly. We both chuckled, and then Shizuki's phone rang from his pocket.

"It's Lucas. You go on. I'll join you when I'm done," he said, handing me the keys to the office.

"Okay." moothing down my black form-fitting knee length dress and adjusting the white blazer that I wore on top, I made my way to the office, greeting people on the way and answering a few questions that some of them asked regarding the trip to Hawaii.

I got to the office door and rotated the doorknob, surprised to find the door already unlocked. I froze. I didn't even need to use the key. What if someone was inside? What if someone broke in?

As soon as that thought came to mind, I heard a sound come from the inside of the office and, faster than ever, pushed the door open. Squinting, I did a quick scan of the part of the room that was visible from the door with my eyes. Not a soul in sight.

I cautiously tiptoed into the office, looking around to make sure there was no one to suddenly spring into view. I looked on the desks and was surprised to see a few scattered papers on Shizuki's desk. He said that he had put everything in the drawers and triple locked the office. What was this?

I scampered over to the desk and picked one of the papers up. Just some ideas for new promotions. There was also a pay sheet, and other boring stuff. Nothing special. But what I noticed was that all the papers had Shizuki's signature. Was that an important detail? I didn't know for sure. As I stood there and read the papers to see if there was any other clue as to why the door was unlocked and why the papers were there, I gently swung my leg and it hit something rather silky under the table. Jumping in surprise, I bent over to see what my foot had collided with.

"Eloïse!" I exclaimed, stepping backwards in utter shock. She turned to look at me, ashen-faced, phone in hand. I quickly deduced that the silky thing that had come into contact with the tip of my boot was her blonde hair that she was wearing straight instead of curly this time.

"Hi Nishida," she greeted sheepishly, as she crawled out of her hiding spot. She placed her phone on the desk behind her and started casually dusting her white dress shirt as if she hadn't just been caught under her boss' desk. While she did that, I noticed that her phone was unlocked and I slowly walked towards it.

"It's quite dusty down there, you know. Better hire some people to clean. Or you can do it yourself," she said. Her voice was nervous, expected. I picked her phone up and looked at the screen. An image of the pay sheet on Shizuki's desk that I saw earlier came into view. Why would Eloïse take that picture from Shizuki's office? Being CFO, didn't she already have her own copy?

I swiped and saw another picture. It was clearly the same document, but was zoomed so as to only capture Shizuki's signature. What? Why did she need a picture of that? I swiped again, and resisted the urge to gasp when I saw my own signature. What was this? My finger hovered over the delete button but I contained myself because if she noticed a missing picture, she'd definitely know it was me. The next picture was one of her in Hawaii, so I quickly swiped back to the first picture, and almost put the phone back when Eloïse turned to face me. She gasped and swiftly snatched her phone from my hand.
