Are we?

4- Dinner

I quickly ran upstairs and changed into decent clothes for a welcoming dinner. 

 "Come on Robin!" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

 " Coming! " I said running over to her.

 "That looks gorgeous sweetie"

 " thanks mom "

 "Yeah and I'll make sure no guy hits in you" Zack said teasing me and putting his arm around me. I rolled my eyes.  We then started walking over to Benny's house? I saw Benny, Scott, Bertram, and Ham sitting in the living room when I walked in. I walked over to them and sat down.

 "Hey Robbie!" Scott said . I rolled my eyes. 

 "Hey Scotty!" He hates that name . I smiled and ruffled with his hair. 

 "Yeah did you see her outfit" Ham said . They were talking about girls at our school.

 "Who are you guys talking about?"  I don't think that they knew I was there and only Scott knew I guess because they looked worried .

 "Ella" Ham said all proud . Bertram looked down trying to hide his guilt. I laughed,

 "It's alright  Bertram and you guys aren't wrong she is really is pretty." I said . The boys started talking about summer which is coming soon.  Which I was so excited for!!

 "You gonna play ball with us this summer?" Scotty asked .

 "Actually I- "

 "Dinner" Benny's mom yelled from the kitchen. We all quickly ran to the kitchen to see what was waiting for us. I saw Benny, Ham, Bertram and Scotty's parents sitting at the table for us along with my parents and brother. Zack patted on the chair next to him signalling me to sit by him. I went to the chair and sat down. Benny's mom then brought the food to the table. Yummy, delicious hotdogs always a classic to get together dinners.  Everyone plated their plates then Mrs. Rodriguez said,

 "So Benny and Robin how are you guys doing on catching up?"

 " Fine" he answered.

 "Well what are you guys doing tomorrow?"  She asked .

 "Nothing much just ball" Benny said.

 "Your not gonna take Robin to the diner so you guys can catch up more?" Both of our eyes widened at her question. Everyone stopped eating and looked at us even the adults. The boys looked at Benny with grins on their face. My mom looked at me smiling. Zack looked at me with one eyebrow up. Benny and I looked at each other. He was beside me so I stepped on his foot. Telling him to say something. 

 "Uh, yeah we are going there" 

 What!! I thought to myself.

 "Well that's great Robin isn't it" my mom said.

 "Yeah, ma it is" I answered rolling my eyes making sure no one said. Lucky for me Benny saw. He then waited a while, while everyone forgot the topic and was talking about other stuff and whispered in my ear,

 "Classic Robin" I smiled. After we were done eating Zack was talking to the boys while Lucy was talking to me. I didn't mind her much she was so sweet anyways. Benny and I avoided each other for the rest of the night. We weren't being rude it was just a bit weird you know.  As the night went on while I was at the Rodriguez's I mainly stayed near Lucy but Benny would glance over at me time to time and smile. I would smile back. I felt someone grab my arm. It was Zack.

 "What is it" I said 

 "We're leaving now" he answered .

 "Well at least let me say bye to everyone" he nodded and I made my way to Benny's  parents.

 "Thanks for dinner" I said to Mrs. Rodriguez. 

 "Bye everyone!"

 " bye! " they all replied. Then Zack and my family left. It was 11:00 at night  so I did my skin routine, put  my pjs on and went to bed. I was asleep until someone knocked on my window. I got up and opened the blinds. Benny?! I opened he window and he came in. 

Authors Note: This might be the story here until two days. I am going out for three days so sorry guys. Sorry about the cliff hanger and if it's too short but it's getting good I promise. Comment ideas of you want and yeah. Luv you! 😊 Bye!
