I opened the window for him. Benny came in.
"What the heck are you doing Rodriguez?"
" Thanks for saying 'hi' Morris" he responded.
"What is it?" I asked annoyed because I was tired.
"So sorry about what my mom said. I'm sorry I avoided you all night."
" It's not your fault Rodriguez. I was avoiding you to in sorry. "
"It's ok Morris"
" Good" there was silence.
"Hey so like smalls asked are you gonna join us for ball this year?" Benny asked breaking the silence .
"Oh yeah, well I might be working at the pool or something so I'm not to sure yet. I'll let you idiots know though if anything comes up" I said smiling.
"Well I better get going we have school tomorrow and I gotta take you to the diner" He looked over at my clock .
"It's already 12:00 get some rest Morris"
" I will thanks Benny. "He nodded he started leaving though the window but the I grabbed his arm and said,
" thanks for coming over "
"Anytime" he whispered then left to his window trying to get in. I laughed then fell asleep.
"Beep Beep!" My alarm clock went off.
I got up and rubbed my eyes. I got up and saw Benny waving though his window again. I waved back and then closed the blinds so I could get dressed.
