A spectacular honest night
That's what he said before we ended our spontaneous conversation last night
It's funny that we still don't know each others names, which makes us still mere strangers
But with all honesty, I must say na malalim ang pananaw niya sa buhay despite his goofiness
And speaking of
Nakaharap siya sa akin ngayon at mukhang handa na rin sa pag-akyat sa summit
Ngumiti lang siya sa akin at sumunod na sa paglalakad sa aming tour guide
It is 3 in the morning and we are all ready to hike up to the summit of Mount Pulag, where we will all witness the amazing sunrise
Mabilis kong inayos ang sarili ko at nilagay ang aking head lamp
The surrounding is still pitched dark at tanging head lamp lamang ang tutulong sa akin para makita ang daan paakyat sa summit
We encountered few steep ascents while my body is freaking shivering with this 4 degree celsius temperature!
It is crazy cold!!!
And after our two hour hike, we finally reached the summit of Mount Pulag
I tiredly sat down the grounds at gayun din ang mga kasamahan kong hikers and we wait patiently to see the sunrise
My body is shivering so I put my hands together and brushes them side by side
But the coldness magically goes away when I finally saw the sea of clouds slowly appearing in front of us
All of us are completely amazed by this rare beauty
This is my second time seeing the famous sea of clouds dahil hindi palaging pasko sa Mount Pulag na tuwing aakyat ka makikita mo ito, you'll never know when will it appear
But now, we caught a really really good timing
Hindi ako kumukurap sa ganda ng tanawin na para bang pakiramdam ko literal na lumulutang ako dahil sa mga ulap na halos abot kamay ko na
Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas at nagpapakita na rin ang haring araw na lubos pang nagbigay ganda sa tanawin dito sa summit ng Mount Pulag
The sunrise came to warm up the blue skies to a radiant gold, filling the skies
I closed my eyes as I felt the warmth of sun touches my face
The temperature is still freezing cold but the sunrise is like a blanket that can warm even the deepest corner of my soul as if it is giving me the most heart warming hug
I saw the smiles of my co-hikers at hindi mapapantayan ang mga iyon, we are all pleasure to see and witness this beauty
Once more, I am captivated by the beauty of Mount Pulag.
"Sunset or sunrise?"
"Ay tokwa!"
I blurted out in surprise
kabute ba ito?!
at palagi na lang sumusulpot sa kung saan at ayan na nanaman ang mga random and weird questions niya
"Hahaha sorry nagulat kita, pero kung papapiliin mo ako.."
He stood beside me with arms crossed over his chest
