When I was a kid, every time I look up at the night sky filled with stars I felt so small but ironically it made me feel special as well, as if the the stars above shines only for me
But as life shatters me it is as well shattered that belief

An alibi to move out of the conversation
I sighed deeply because all the things he just said is not something I used to hear everyday
It is just...just something that somehow opens a locked door within me that I don't even know existed—something so foreign but somehow felt so right to believe

After nearly a month of working on this masterpiece, finally—in front of me is the complete landscape of the northern lights
"Wow"

Zion and I exclaimed simultaneously
If this painting astounds us to this extent, imagine how much more captivating it would be in reality?
How wondrous would it be to witness these radiant colors dancing in the night sky with our own eyes? I wouldn't even mind blinking—that's for sure.
I was intimately looking at the painting when I heard camera flashes... that's when I saw Zion's camera on the tripod which is well positioned to capture the landscape

He grinned while scanning his camera
All along may pinaplano pala siya, malay ko ba naman na nakaset yung camera niya doon, tuwang tuwa pa ako tumayo habang pinagmamasdan itong painting
"Bakit naman dinamay mo pa ako?!"

"Hindi kasi maganda kung mag-isa lang akong pumunta sa iceland para masaksihan ang Northern Lights, salamat sa pagsama ha!"
Pagbibiro niya at tawang tawa pa akala mo naman nakakatuwa siya
I shot him a piercing, icy glare at sinimulan nang ayusin ang mga nakakalat na gamit ko sa sahig
"Nice shot! This can effortlessly convince someone that we've actually been to Iceland hahaha!!!"
He amusingly commented with some american accent pa habang nakangiti sa harap ng camera niya
Pero dahil kailangan ko na rin umuwi at may plano pa kami ni Cremeliana, hindi ko na nagawang silipin pa ang picture na tinutukoy niya..besides, magkikita pa naman kami next week for my second project—the Mount Everest project

A week ago I filed two day sick leave, where in reality I spent my two whole day painting the northern lights landscape
"If you want it so bad, bakit hindi mo iyan i-full time?"
I hope it is as easy as how Feena said the question
"Kung pwede lang talaga, kaso hindi pa naman ganoon kataas credentials ko. I am not even holding a degree, hindi ko nga alam kung may iba pa bang client na kukuha sa akin after this project"
