Crazy Love~

Perrie's POV

"Look Perrie, I really like you but I've been in One Direction for quite some time now, and the media is fantastic at cooking up rumours and stories that aren't true."

Zayn had dropped by the X factor contestants house during our free day, Marcus, Amelia and the rest of the girls were out shopping.

Zayn paused, as if he was having a mental debate on whether he should continue.

Staring into my eyes with a solemn expression on his face, he took a deep breath, as if he was drawing confidence before continuing,

"To be in a relationship with me, you need to have trust in me. Are you sure you wanna be in a relationship with me?"

I was tempted to hastily agree as I really liked Zayn.

From the moment we met on the video shoot of "wishing on a star", Zayn has left me awe-struck by his charisma.

Although he was in the biggest boyband that was currently taking over the world, he had an unusual aloofness and usually kept a straight face.

His beautiful jawline, perfect brown eyes, his thick bushy eyebrows, pouty lips and his quiff. Everything about him was just perfect.

I was clearly aware that my feelings towards him was slightly more than a crush.

Over the weeks, One Direction was invited as guest performers and Zayn would always strike a coversation with me backstage. Over time, we developed a close bond, exhanged numbers and became close friends.

However, a small timid voice in my head said "are you sure you're able to do this Perrie? You've only been in one serious relationship and you're close the the finales of the X factor competition. Will you have the energy and time to commit into a relationship?"

"I guess.. I know your answer.. It's okay, I understand. Good luck for the rest of your X factor competition" Zayn interrupted my thoughts in a barely audible whisper, his face a mirror of the hurt his heart was feeling.

He slowly stood up, stuck his hands in his pocket and walked towards the door.

When he reached the door he turned around, taking one last look behind his shoulders at me, as if he was reluctant to leave.

I stared after him, confused about his reaction when I had yet to give him a reply. I froze, watching him leave my room, knowing that he would probably never come back if he took one more step.

He slammed the door, as if to convey his disappointment and anger towards my descision. My heart ached for him, I wanted to plead him to turn around and come back.

But I didn't, I couldn't. I didn't know what to do.
