Chapter 10

"Pez I just realized... My last memory awake I clearly had my shirt on. But this morning my shirt is there." I jabbed my finger towards the direction of a chair sitting in the corner of Perrie's room.

"Yeah.. You fell asleep last night and I wanted to examine your injuries. Besides, you always sleep with your shirt off, don't ya babe?"

"Mmm Hmm. Thoughtful eh Pez?" I teased as I got out of bed and grabbed my shirt to conceal the bruises on my body. "Anyways so you should know, the pain is bearable, I promise. See, I can get out of bed now, it's nothing to worry."

"Yeah sure. I heard someone saying he would tell me it ain't pain so I won't worry."

"Ahh Pez! Just pretend you didn't hear that!"

"Right.. Just tell me if it hurts yeah?"

"Yeah, I promise."

"And that's what you always say but you never tell me anyways."

I chuckled, it was, well the very truth. "Pez you wanna come over to my house for the next few days since we have the days off?"

"Yeah sure! I'll get ready."

As Perrie went to the toilet to get ready I grab her pink luggage from her cupboard and quickly packed a week's worth of clothes before she could protest about it.

I remembered I didn't have my car and I didn't want to disturb Louis or Liam because they would be spending time with their girlfriends and Niall was back home in Ireland. It left me with the choice of calling Harry.

"What are you doing with my stuff Zayn!" Perrie exclaimed when she came out.

"I thought I would save us the travelling to and fro and just get you to sleep over at mine."

"Hmm purely for convenience yeah?"

"Of course, hey you're especially full of sarcasm today! Oh yes and Pez, when I came last night I remember I brought along a box, do you know where it went?"

"I'm not sure babe, I haven't been downstairs since Paul brought you up."

I headed down the stairs and spotted my pink box on coffee table. "Open it. It's for you." I pointed to the box and instructed Perrie.

The rest of her bandmates were sitting around the couch busy tapping away on their phones while Perrie slumped herself in between them. I stood behind the couch hovering over Perrie. She opened the box and turned to me.

"You got me an iPhone?"

"Yeah the latest one!"

"But... but the iPhone 5 isn't out till next week and my current one is working perfectly!"

"Ah I just pulled some strings here and there, pay slightly more that's all. I know it's working, but you've used it for like what, the last 10 years? Plus it isn't an iPhone so we can't FaceTime. Jade said you were always waiting for me to Skype you till you fell asleep on your computer table so I was thinking I could get you an iPhone so we could FaceTime on the go. We don't have to be at home or at the hotel that is so it's easier for us to talk! And you can just call me, your phone bills' under me so you don't have to worry about the cost of overseas calls! Plus it's really time for you to change your phone, I've gotten myself an iPhone 5 too so yeah, it's cool. And I know you were waiting for the release of the iPhone 5 but you wouldn't let me buy it for you, so if I bought it first before you even had the chance you can't do anything bout it can you?"

She leaped off the sofa and pecked me quickly on lips. "Thanks babe."

"You're most welcome. I'll go up and grab your stuff." I said as I headed up the stairs and she fiddled with her new phone.
