Chapter 7

I blinked for a few seconds before realizing that it was Jade who pulled Perrie away and Jesy who had slapped me. I mentally let out a sigh of relief because for a moment I thought she was Adam and I also sighed because I should have known I had to face the girls sooner or later.

"Who do you think you are?!" Leigh-Ann's voice boomed at me. "You don't just leave our poor Perrie here for two days, leaving her to mop around, behave like a lifeless soul and then you just come back and kiss everything away! How dare you even kiss her! You're such a heartless person! Only Perrie would be foolish enough to fall for your honeyed words and forgive you!"

"I know I don't deserve her forgiveness." I mumbled.

"Then why won't you leave her alone?! Now that you're back, and Perrie has seen you, we're taking her back."

"You can't!" I immediately protested.

"And what makes you think I won't!" Leigh-Ann spat with disgust, daring me to challenge her.

"I need her." I said disgracefully.

"You. Need. Her." She said each word through gritted teeth. "Have you lost your sense of shame! If Perrie wasn't here I would have killed you right now!"

"Leigh-Ann!" Perrie cried.

Leigh-Ann grabbed my collar like Jade did at the hospital and swung me so that my back was now facing the wall. She pushed me hard against it and pushed her arm against my neck. Deja Vu rushed through me to remind me of that night when I came back.

"You listen clearly now. Don't think that Perrie is so innocent that you can fool her. She has the three of us and we are not going to let you hurt her again."

All the painful memory of that night was rushing back to me. It was hurting my head. Now instead of seeing Leigh-Ann in front of me, I see Adam.

I clenched my fist very tightly, my palms stung as the nails dug deep into it. "I have to punch him before he hurts Perrie." Yet a small part in my mind reminds me that it's Leigh-Ann infront of me.

I felt my hands trembling, I was clutching it so tight I would be shocked if my palms weren't bleeding. Perrie. Where was she? My eyes searched for her, and she happened to be standing exactly where she was before she came up to get Adam off me.

She was staring at me wide eyed and her mouth slightly opened, I knew this scene reminded her of that night too, but seeing Jade and Jesy beside her kept me controlled.

I closed my eyes and took deep heavy breathes. My whole body was trembling now, I was like a kid having a fit attack.

"Leigh-Ann! Get off him now!!" I heard Perrie scream. It calmed me down, just a little, to know that it wasnt Adam, it wasnt that night.

"Leigh-Ann! If you don't someone's going to get hurt!!"

"The only person that will get hurt is him!"

I heard a long loud scream coming from Perrie and I opened my eyes. She was squatted on the floor, hiding her hand in between her knees.

That was enough to make Leigh-Ann let go of me. The moment she let go I felt my air flow coming back to me and the scene where Adam let go and swung his hand to shove Perrie played in my mind.

No no no, this can't be happening. Part of my mind was clear yet the rest was being dominated and haunted by those memories. I turned around to face the wall and punch it continuously, just like that day.

Adam's image appeared on the wall, the only difference were the punches were twice as hard now, the part of me which was confused was thinking that I had to get Perrie to the hospital.
