Early Saturday Morning

"So some special pills, a magic peach, and a fancy furnace." Pigys looks over at Red Son, a little confused. "Where are we even going to find these?"

Red Son looks over at your lovely boss with his mouth agape. It takes a couple of seconds for the red haired demon to try and form a response before Mei wraps one arm around Red Son. "Ooooo!" Your dragon friend teases, "Red boy doesn't know!"

Red Son stomps his foot down as he pulls away from Mei, shouting right into her face. "I know they're somewhere alright! I'm a demon, it's not like I've been here before."

Tang audibly sighs and leans against Pigsy before clearing his throat. You watch as Red Son's eyebrow irritatedly twitches. "Well in the legend, Monkey King stole the peaches of immortality from the heavenly orchard."

"So what you're saying is unless they were sensibly moved, they'll still be there?" You cross your arms and look back at Tang.

Tang nods before pressing on, "The pills of the great master, Loaux, Monkey King stole those too. They must be in Loaux's alchemy lab."

"And what about the furnace?" Red Son questions, throwing his hands into the air, "I can't make anything without that."

"It could be in the alchemy lab," shrug Tang before the young man pushes up his glasses and smiles, "but my guess is it will be in the Jade Emperor's throne room. Both Mk and Mei make noises of confusion while looking at Tang.

Red Son however pays now mind to it and stretches out. "Alright then! I'll be off to grab that peach, toodles!" Right as Red son attempts to jump off the railing and onto the bridge, Mei grabs his collar and pulls him back.

"Wait!" Mei rolls her eyes and keeps him close. "Like we'd just let you wander off on your own!"

Red Son escapes Mei's clutches and dusts himself off, a bit annoyed with Mei. "You just wait here like a good obedient little-" Red son is quickly cut off when he goes to pat Mei's head and she bites him. The demon yelps before trying to frantically get her off.

Your boss pays no mind for the chaos and sighs, "Tang and I will go for the pills." He exchanges a glance with his husband. "They're just regular looking pills right? Round, kind of shaped like pills, you know like, normal pills."

Tang smiles and listens as the pig goes on and on about how the pills should be shaped like pills. You know Tang obviously knows what these pills look like, and you're pretty sure you do too. They're literal pills.

Mk steps forth in a very 'manly' type form and stands up straight, placing his hands on his hips. "Then that leaves the furnace to (Y/N) and I."

You look back at Mk in surprise. "Me? You really want me to come with you?" A small smile forms on your face before teasing Mk. "You know I'm the only one who doesn't have any special quirks right?" Other than experiencing death once, the voice in your head echoes.

Mk rolls his eyes and pulls you close with one of his arms, getting ready to use his staff. "Oh whatever! You've definitely got some quirks and you know it."

"Oh yeah?" You egg on, lightly elbowing him in the side as you look at him. "Like what?"

"Like how you scream every time you take a sudden flight." A wicked smile forms on Mk's face as he pulls you closer.

Your face goes a little pale as you immediately grab hold of your friend's neck with your arms. "Mk, wait-" Before you can get anything else out, you're screaming as Mk takes you through the air, using his staff as a helicopter blade.
