It was another sunny day in Queensokyo.
Which was really no surprise, considering it's pretty much always sunny outside. Speaking of summers, a bunch of winters and summers passed by.
A lot of things have changed recently. The first part was you grew a bit older, the both of you. Your brother wasn't a baby anymore, well, except in the eyes of you and your parents. He was now a toddler, at the ripe age of four years.
You, on the other hand, were still the same bubbly kid that your family adores, but you grew a bit more in height and your features were changing. Yes, your baby features were still the same, just more pronounced, considering you were six years old now.
However, there is one feature that makes you stand out the most. Your hair... drastically changed. It was still in the same small braids at the side of your head, but the color was different.
Instead of your usual (h/c) color, the tint shifted into a vibrant pink and green shade. The first signs started when you were around four years old. You absolutely adored deserts to an extent, as much as how big your love for food is.
Now, you always love trying out different foods and desserts that aren't Japanese, Western, or (any other nationality) related, but there is one dessert that you go crazy over. It's none other than the famous Sakura Mochi.
The sweet and stretchy dough wrapped in a cute leaf was just so tasty, especially with the flavored paste inside. You absolutely went nuts for this confection. After every meal, you would practically get at least one Sakura Mochi to eat, practically inhaling the sweet treat.
As you ate and ate... stuff started to change. Your mother was the first one to notice... which really wasn't that much of a surprise. When you walked past her to grab something in the living room, her eyes couldn't help but catch something off.
As she took a closer look, she realized that a hint of green hue was starting to fade into your hair at the tips. She felt as if something was wrong, but she shrugged it off. It wasn't that noticeable.
Well... for a while, that was.
More and more color started to bloom on your pretty hair, pink color starting to join the green hue for the combination of the Sakura Mochi color palette. When you realized that your original hair color was starting to get engulfed by the vibrant colors, you couldn't help but panic over it.
