I've left behind alot of things in my life
I've left behind my childhood dogs
The house I grew up in
The old swing sets are now rusted
But it's funny
Something's never change
The smell of my dad's Marlboro blacks
Still stains my hair
Still stains my clothes
I still smell if hours after seeing him
There's always something constantly changing
People are always leaving
Whether I'm leaving something
Or someone behind
Or that someone or something
Is leaving me
Something's never change
My dad will always smoke Marlboro blacks
And the smell will
always comfort me
