Y/N's POV:

I hated the zoo. It made me feel so bad for the animals to be held in captivity like this

But at the same time it did fascinate me to be able to see animals I probably would never have the privilege to see in their actual natural habitats

"Y/n look at the giraffe" Kimi said grabbing my arm then running to the fence to point at it

"It's cute" I said laughing along with her as I recorded her reaction to it and posted it on my story

My day was going okay. I did miss her and wonder what she was doing but I tried to enjoy as much as I could

Our group kept walking and we came upon gorillas

I took a seat next to the glass to look at my phone. Just checking if I had a text or something but no

"Y/n" Maria whispered and I looked up to see all of them staring at me

"What?" I asked

I turned my head slightly and the gorilla was right next to me staring at me

"Oh shit-" I said completely startled

They laughed and I waved hi to the gorilla. I started basically talking to it as if it understood me

Some of my friends recorded me then I let them take pictures with the ape as I stepped away

We enjoyed the rest of our time there then went to eat after.

We went to some nice restaurant. With some great food

I was laughing along to something that one of the guys said and I overheard Camila's friends talking

"Ooh look at Camila with her bae. They went snorkeling" Marielle said

She passed her phone around to show her other friends and she even showed me

"You follow her man?" Jenna asked

"Yea he's actually really cool" she said "she went out with some of his friends"

So his name is Austin

I looked away and pretended not to care. I just continued eating my food. Although I had slightly lost my appetite

My phone went off and Camila responded to my text of pictures of Monkeys that I sent her

"Cute 😂" she said

She also started liking and reacting to all of my stories

I didn't bother reacting back or replying to anything

We stayed at the restaurant for a while longer going over everything we saw at the zoo.

We went back to our air bnb because they wanted to go swimming
