Chapter 24

Last chapter was left as a filler. It was all going to be one big chapter but it was too long for my liking so I broke it apart.

Beginning of this chapter is a little slow but some dramatic things will be said 🫣

Y/N's POV:

When their set ended it was barely 4'o clock and we decided to go look for our friends again

We found them in the vip area sitting down having some drinks

As we were approaching them I could already see my friends giving me looks

"Where the hell have you guys been?" Stella asked

"Yea you guys disappeared" Camila's friend Jenna said

"We had a detour" Camila said

We ended up explaining everything that happened with the young girl and how we spent most of our time with her.

We kind of stretched it a little that we were with her longer than we actually were but I just needed to save myself from my friends annoying me with judging stares and questions for later

Austin popped up out of nowhere with his friends and it was kind of a jump scare because I completely forgot he existed

He went up to Camila asking where she's been and I could tell she seemed a little bit annoyed but ended up explaining

Gus handed me a fresh fruity drink he just got from the bar and I thanked him as I sipped the delicious yellowish red liquid

"Oh what's that?" Camila asked me in between her conversation with her friends

"Try it it's good" I said as I handed her the drink and she took a sip

"Oh I need that" she said making the group of us laugh

"Come on I need a new one too" Sandra said

"Oh me too" Kimiko said as they got up and went to go to the bar

Tame Impala was going to start soon and we were hyped

"We gotta go near the stage soon guys" Maria said

"Before we do you know what time it is" Stacy said before she brought out her little baggie full of little pills

It was Tame Impala how could we not?

She handed one to each of us. We popped it in and cheered by putting our drinks up and clinked and it was bottoms up from there

When I put my drink down after swallowing I opened my eyes and I could see Camila staring straight at me at the bar with an unpleased look

I downed my drink because I knew I was in trouble

"Woo let's go" Ashley shouted making us make our way over to the stage area as we heard it start

Camila and her friends joined us as we began our journey to the area

I could tell Camila was not happy with me but she was not scolding me. I guess she decided to keep her comments to herself today

We joined the big crowd and cheered when Kevin Parker stepped on stage.

Automatically feeling the trip take effect when the psychedelic sounds of the music filled my ears and the mesmerizing lights enhanced the visions

My friends and I danced, jumped, and sang along

I was tripping but also aware. The dose wasn't even high. It was low. Plus these wouldn't last long. It was just for a little thrill
