Chapter 46

Y/N's POV:

My time in Miami was coming to an end, I was stopping by Camila's parents house one last time. Camila didn't live there full time anymore since she got her own apartment in the city and that's where we have been staying these past few days

Her parents were having a barbecue with friends and family so it was nice to get to know them. I was incredibly nervous though

I did get along with her teenage sister Sofi pretty well. She surprisingly had a sophisticated and wide taste in music, more than Camila honestly, it was impressive so it was cool to talk to her

When I wasn't with Sofi I sat back with her friends. I didn't want to keep Camila from her family since she's not as home as often as she would like and I was okay with that

I was exiting the bathroom making my way through the big house to go back outside and I came across the golden retriever she adored so much

I stopped in my place like a deer in headlights as he stared me down

I just wanted to move past him but he growled at me

Yea he hasn't been my biggest fan, since the moment I met him he was rough and angry with me

I usually loved dogs and all pets but this one for some reason had beef with me

"Y/n- oh there you are" I heard Camila as she approached me

"I was looking for you" she said giving me a happy smile

"I went to the bathroom" I said giving her a smile back

"Hi baby" she said gleefully as she bent down to pet and hug her dog

I was just staring at him teasingly when she wasn't aware

"Are you saying hi to Y/n?" she spoke in her baby voice as she scratched his head

The dog growled

"Hey, Tarzan no!" she said scolding him

"baby come here" she said to me and I shook my head no

"Come here" she said as if I'm the fucking dog now

"No he's gonna bite me" I said

"He doesn't bite come here" she said grabbing my hand to bring me closer

She made me reach out my hand to him and the fucking dog tried to bite me making me flinch and move my hand quickly

"I told you!" I said

"Tarzan no don't be a bad boy" she said pouting at him

I tested him getting closer and he growled and tried to bite me again and she held him back

"Tarzan no! We love Y/n" she said and he growled again

I just laughed

"This is so strange he usually is so lovable, I've never seen him act like this with someone" she said getting up

"He just doesn't like me it's okay" I said giving her a smile and she pouted

"Well the food is ready come on" she said grabbing my hand

"Okay I'm coming" I said squeezing her hand

Someone called her name from the kitchen

"I'll see you out there" she said as she had to leave my side suddenly and I nodded

Before she could leave I pulled her back not letting go of her hand

"Baby"

"Yes?" She asked
