Chapter 41

Y/N's POV:

I felt the warmth and brightness of the sun beaming down on me making my face cringe and shut my eyes tighter.

I mentally cursed myself for forgetting to close the curtains last night. Pulling the blankets over my head because I was way too comfy to get up and close them

I tried dozing back off but that was interrupted when I heard a noise come from the bathroom

It sounded like crying which made me shoot up to look for Camila and I realized she wasn't next to me. Her side of the bed was empty.

I rubbed my tired eyes and tried to make myself fully conscious as I got off the bed and went to the bathroom

Getting closer to the door hearing sniffles

The door wasn't fully closed it had a gap open, I softly pressed on the door to make it open lightly

"Mila?" I asked giving it a knock as it opened to let me see her sitting on the lid of the closed toilet wiping tears from her eyes

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked as I immediately went to kneel down in front of her

She just kept whimpering not wanting to speak

I decided to just wait until she was ready to speak. I made a movement to sit on the floor, my eyes looking down but then catching something

I saw bloody tissues in the trash bin. My eyes immediately went back up to her

"I got my period" she said as she wiped away her tears

I let out a sigh of relief but it looked like she wasn't crying due to relief

"T-that's a good thing no?" I asked as I placed my hands on her knees

"I guess yea..." she mumbled wiping her nose

"Camila what's the matter then?" I asked concerned and she let out a sigh

"I was actually kind of happy" she said and I just stared at her

"I know it's far too quick but the thought of possibly being a mom and you being there with me, us becoming parents together, it excited me" she said

I think the honeymoon phase is just a little too strong for her...

"Uh yea" I replied cautiously because I did not want to upset her or make her feelings feel invalidated

"You don't agree!" She said with a laugh

"I didn't say that-" I said defensively and she giggled again

"It's okay, I know it's crazy of me" she said placing her hands over mine that were resting on her knees

"I mean of course I would love to have children with you some day if the universe permits it" I said placing my head in the middle of her lap looking up at her

Her hands immediately running through my hair

"I'm still going to go to my doctors appointment today, just to make sure everything is okay" she said and I nodded

"I'll take you" I said as I kissed the skin just above her knee

She smiled at me and leaned down to kiss my temple

We stayed there for a little while til she was ready to get going. She went into the shower as I started washing my face and brushing my teeth. She was really quiet. I looked at her through the glass doors of the shower and could see she was very deep in thought

I gave her some privacy as I went back to the room to get dressed. I went to the kitchen and decided to make us some protein shakes since she most likely had to fast for her doctors appointment
