Chapter 49

Narrator's POV:

The couple entered the apartment

There was a tension that they both felt but they both played it off like there was nothing wrong.

Camila was testing Y/N to see if she would bring it up or if she was gonna try to hide from it

Y/n decided to sit on the couch and just turn on the TV

Camila felt like that was an odd thing to do since they needed to talk

She sat next to her girlfriend on the couch

She let some time go by as Y/n mindlessly scrolled through Netflix

The silence was killing Camila

"So are you ready to talk-" Camila spoke up

"Oh look the new season of Bridgerton is out" Y/n said

Camila knew what Y/n was doing, she was deflecting

"I don't want to watch it" Camila said

Camila definitely wanted to watch it just not at this moment.

She sighed throwing her head back a little frustrated then got up to get a water bottle from the fridge

Y/n kept scrolling through Netflix to try and distract herself, in the end this was a terrible idea because she came across Shawn Mendes's documentary and the preview trailer played a part where Camila comes out and they're all over each other kissing

She grew angry again, the universe was really kicking her ass today

Camila spoke to Shawn: "I love you, do you know that?"
As she placed kisses on his shoulder then kissed him on the lips

Before anything else she shut the tv off tossing the control on the coffee table and ran her hands through her face and hair as she threw her head back

Luckily for her Camila didn't see what played so she was confused coming back to the tv suddenly turned off

Camila stood behind the couch and ran her hands through Y/N's hair lovingly

"What's wrong baby?" She asked in that same raspy whisper she had in that video and kissed Y/N's forehead

Y/n flinched and got up of the couch

"Uh nothing" she said

Camila sighed and set the water down

"Alright, so it looks like you're avoiding it so I'm gonna have to get it out of you" Camila said

"No, nothings wrong no I'm fine" Y/n said

"Y/n just talk to me please" Camila pleaded getting close to her

All Y/N did was stare at her, her lips said nothing but her heart was screaming

Camila knew what she had to do. She let out another sigh then licked her lips

"Okay that's fine, I give up" she said

Y/n sighed in relief that Camila was dropping the subject

Y/n sat back down on the couch

"So about your motorcycle" Camila said

"What about it?" Y/n asked

"I actually really liked it" she said and that made Y/n smile
