Arrival and Dinner

Two weeks flew by in a blink of an eye. I was on a plane headed to Hawaii. On my right was Odell, and on my left was my baby girl Avalon. Odell was turned, talking to August and whoever else was over there. I was shaking, and I was so fucking scared I couldn't breathe. The itinerary went like this:
Thursday: Arrive, check-in, rest, and have dinner at 7.
Friday: Celebrate Gabby's birthday
Saturday: Wedding day
Sunday: Odell and I fly off to our honeymoon

When I tell y'all, I can not stop shaking. I was so scared I felt myself about to cry. I got up quickly and turned to Odell, "Watch Avalon," I told him.

Before he could say anything, I walked away quickly. I was already in first class, so I went to the bar area and cried. I was crying so hard, I jumped when I felt a hand touch my back. I looked up, and it was my mom. When she saw my face, she immediately hugged me.

"Oh honey, I felt the same you are feeling before I married your father. I couldn't stop shaking, couldn't decide if I was doing the right thing or not. I was terrified. You know what got me threw it?" She said.

"What?" my voice came out weak and shaky.

"Talking to your father. Turns out he was just as scared, and we helped each other. He stayed in the room with me until I fell asleep. We talked right before I walked down the aisle. What I'm trying to say is to talk to your fiancé. I'm sure he will understand." she kissed my forehead and then walked away.

Thanks, Mom, for such great advice. It was great advice, but I didn't want Odell to think I was having second thoughts or anything. I loved this man, but I've never been a wife before. I also don't want to be hurt anymore either. I ordered a couple of shots and took them. Then I got up and got ready to head to the bathroom when another hand slid into my hand. I turned and looked. Odell stood there; he looked concerned. My mother must have said something to him.

He kissed my head, "Tell me whats on your mind, love".

I sighed; I guess I would have to talk to him after all. "I'm nervous, Odell, more like scared. No, it has nothing to do with you. I'm scared to be a wife, to be one, and to love you. What if I mess up or do something you don't like? I-" I started mumbling.

Odell turned me to face him, and Odell hugged me. Tears started streaming down my face, and I didn't know what else I could do. "Baby, listen, you are going to be an amazing wife. If anyone should be nervous, it should be me. You are going to be amazing, beyond amazing. I get to marry you, and I'm beyond excited. You said yes, and I'm the luckiest guy in the world. When we land, we will do all the relaxing things to help you. Anything you want, just name it".

He pulled back and wiped my tears away, and I smiled at him. We kissed and then went back to our seats. I sat back, closed my eyes, and took a nap. 

~Time Passes~

I was shaken awake. I opened my eyes, and Avalon sat beside me, looking at me in my face. "We're here mommy," she told me. I smiled at her and nodded my head. After getting off the plane, I held Avalon's hand as we walked through the airport. At first, things were calm, and then flashes started going off out of nowhere. I almost forgot that I was walking with three celebrities. I picked Avalon up and covered her face. I didn't mind her photo being taken, but those flashes are blinding.

We quickly got through the airport; there were three cars waiting outside. I got Avalon in the car quickly, then I went to help. I went to pick up a bag, but Odell quickly took the bag away from me. "Go get in the car with Avalon. We got this". I smiled and kissed him, and then I went to get in the car with Avalon. 

On our way to the hotel, Odell and I sat beside each other, Avalon sat beside my mom, and August was cozied up next to Gabby. Everyone else who came was in the other vehicles. Odell put his arm around me, and I relaxed my head on his shoulder. He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead.  It was not that long of a ride before we arrived at the hotel and spa. My mother was going to keep Avalon with her. Odell and I would share a room until the night of the wedding, and then August and I would trade places. I stood beside Odell as he got us checked in; he had a good grip on my hand. After we were checked in, Odell and I walked to our room.
